Norway Road Trip - 10 Days
The Norway road trip adventure continues :) Starting out from Lovatnet Lake, I made my way to the Urkegga circuit in the Sunmore Alps to hike Egilbu. The way to Urke was one of the most stunning routes I've ever taken: waterfalls, lakes, glaciers, old mountain huts-you name it!
I came across a V12 aircraft engine from an airplane shot down in 1945. From Hellesylt, I made my way through the UNESCO Geiranger Fjord, past the Seven Sisters waterfall. Beeeeautiful!
After a good rest, the most stunning road part of my trip unfolded... Eagle Road past Ornesvingen viewpoint and the, yes, Trollstigen Mountain Road! The autumn colors dipped everything into a fairytale wonderland.
The last part of the trip led me to a very special and very cold place... Dovrefjell National Park. There is a hut called Snohetta here, which is the craziest architectural marvel I have ever seen! And which animals do you find there? Musk ox... I went on a little snowstorm adventure to find them. There are only a few places in the world that have them - so grateful and lucky to have been here.
How long did it take me to see all these places? Just five days :)

Norway Road Trip - Europe's Most Beautiful Country - Part 1
มุมมอง 6242 หลายเดือนก่อน
Norway impressed me in this honorable and unexpected way - despite it being cold and rainy. I have clearly never seen so many waterfalls in my life - like a real-life Narnia. And I have never admired the landscapes in any other European country more than here. I hiked up Preikestolen, ferried across many breathtaking fjords, could not believe my eyes when I saw Langfossen waterfall, felt like t...
Florida Road Trip - Everglades to Key West with Randy the Van!

Randy the van and I hit Florida's open road and drove into the heart of the Everglades. I encountered alligators up close, experienced the adrenaline rush of a speed boat tour through the winding water, and admired the beautiful wetland ecosystem. Long Pine Key Campground, Shark Valley, Monument Lake, and other stops were on the way and allowed me to dip into nature - just beautiful! :) We also...

Missing my connecting flight with Turkish Airlines left me stranded, yet captivated by Istanbul's beauty! I visited Hagia Sophia and admired its incredible architecture and history. The mosaics, lights, and paintings are just breathtaking. The adjacent Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace added to my unplanned cultural immersion. I also met some amazing people! Together, we enjoyed Baklava at Hafiz M...

During my last short visit to Johannesburg, I added a day trip to Pilanesberg National Park. Even with a tiny car, you can see a lot! The trip was also a bittersweet reminder of how much I love and miss South Africa - the country that sto...

    Your video would have been a lot better without your crude and vulgar language. Educated people really don’t want to hear that kind of talking. It is sad because you seem like a nice woman. You need a “dead cat” to block the wind while you are recording. Some of your video was impossible to hear due to the wind noise. These are inexpensive devices which are necessary to record in a windy environment.

    Just a pronunciation tip, Ø is almost exactly like a German Ö (the origin of both symbols is an OE combination). Also, a final "E" is always pronounced in Norwegian words, again similar to German. So "Sunnmøre" should be pronounced similarly to how you would do if you followed German rules, and not according to English rules like "sun more" as you did in the video.

    Fantastic to see the joy you have in seeing the beautiful, exciting and wild nature we have in Norway. Hope you got to Oslo safely. If you want to experience a completely different Norway, drive RV 17 (Kystriksveien) from north of Trondheim and follow it up to Bodø. Take the ferry over to Lofoten and then drive up to Andenes. Ferry from there over to Senja and up to Tromsø. Can really recommend you that trip. If you can bear it, drive further up to Nordkapp.

    • @storypioneer
      @storypioneer 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I had a towing rope with me, so the plan would have been to wait and hope to encounter a kind soul who could tow me. Definitely not the most foolproof - would not recommend!! Given that I knew my car extremely well and ensured it had absolutely no issues before traveling, the likelihood of needing a tow was very minimal. I think Namibia also offers AA roadside assistance memberships, though. And if you rent a car, you should be covered!
