Raptor Talons with Endure Ash of War works better than expected
What's up everyone, SparrowLegs here. I've wanted to make a claw build pretty much since the game came out, but I always end up playing strength characters with two-handed weapons.
And it seems like the patch 1.16 is as good time as ever to play dexterity claws.
I started as a Dark Souls 1 bandit class, or "hero" as it's called here in Elden Ring.
I knew that the claws weapon class has some of the highest DPS potential in the game, because of the inate bleed buildup and fast hitting dual-wield moveset, but I was still surprised how fluid and fun to use they are.
Some of the downsides of claws is their short range; the lack of hyper armor during your attacks for trading; and some of the lowest poise damage in the game.
Upsides are the super light weight, and the fact that you only have to upgrade one single weapon that's used in both hands for dual wielding. And also when you apply a weapon buff, both weapons get it. Which is great for Bloodflame Blade.
What I really want to talk about is the Endure ash of war. It lasts like 4 seconds, and gives you increased damage absorption, and infinite poise for trading. At first it seems like a boring weapon art, but you really start to appreciate it when you realize how useful it is in a clutch.
You can use it to tank hits and trade, or to give you a chance to chug the flask when you can't get enough breathing room otherwise. The reduced damage taken buff makes a huge difference, even on my low level character with light armor.
Again, as a person that almost always uses slow hitting weapons, it's really fun and refreshing to weave around the enemies and do a ton of burst damage with combos.
So far I've only done Limgrave and Liurnia, trying to play region locked, we'll see how it goes after Altus Plateau, because that's usually where I lose focus and start making new characters.
Thanks for watching, have a good day

How to make building instructions using BrickLink Studio - The Basics
มุมมอง 19014 วันที่ผ่านมา
Hello everyone, let's talk about how you can use BrickLink Studio software to design and export building instructions. Here in the 3D workspace we have this simple brick-built burger we want to make the building instructions for. So, first, we're going to go here and open the "instruction maker" section of the app, and it takes us to the Step Editor. Here on the left are shown all the building ...

Nice video! What is the spec of your computer ? how long does it take to render the building animation, that are on your shorts section?
it's a pretty demanding operation for the PC to produce these renders. There's CPU and GPU rendering. If you have a CUDA based Nvidia GPU, you can choose GPU rendering, and if not, you can only use CPU. And yes, it should be up to 100% utilization while rendering. I have an RTX 4060 GPU, which is pretty good for at any kind of task, but my CPU is pretty meh. So a 1080p image at max quality will take like 40 seconds with GPU rendering, and like 15 minutes with CPU. And video animation is basically rendering every frame as an image. So a crappy animation that's like 7 seconds at 720p, and normal quality will take like 30-40 minutes to render with a GPU, and like 4-6 hours with CPU. I usually render them at 1080p for instagram and shorts, takes about 2 hours for 10-12 seconds. I think it's completely GPU dependent, but I'm curious to see what happens when I upgrade my CPU
@@OldSparrowLegs Thanks! I have a macbook m1 max and takes 30+ hours to render video animation, photos is pretty fast. I am considering a pc with the rtx4060. Does the Bricklink software works fine or you did some patch to work? Because I read in the bricklink's forum and they mention that the nvidia card that are supported are up to RTX3000 series
@@Discovermax The software is updated automatically every time you run it, it will work fine with any newer Nvidia GPU. You just have to make sure it's Nvidia, because Studio's rendering feature only supports CUDA cards. You could have the best AMD GPU on the market, and the software wouldn't let you use it for rendering
Ninjago got some of the best sets out there. This set however is even more next level. Great possibility, excellent new mini figure, great looks and that sword… wished those once in a blue moon excellent sets would’ve been more common
@@benjamingamer7629 I agree, awesome parts to price ratio, definitely aimed at the older "mech" audience. When the Zane's combo mech was announced at the same price point, and around the same number of pieces, I got my hopes up, but that one is just terrible unfortunately
@@OldSparrowLegsme too, this mech spiked my interest. Kinda nostalgic as it’s like exoforce but better with a bigger budget: a mech with its operator. I fully agree with you and have the disappointment. Heard the set’s designer got promoted and won’t be designing sets anymore. He wanted to end it with a masterpiece. Already thought from that this one of a kind set probably remains a one of a kind. Just hope other designers take inspiration off this excellent set
@benjamingamer7629 Are you saying the Cole's Titan designer is moving on? That sucks. He also designed Zane's Titan, which I also have, another banger
I have the Lego set and it’s Christmas 🥳

I use BrickLink Studio for Windows OS. It's completely free to use, and has different sections that let you build stuff, design the instructions, and render images and animations. Here's a tutorial on how you can import any official set and build it digitally: th-cam.com/video/4RMi0Fo3U8g/w-d-xo.htmlsi=dpU3JtH2j8JrY5PW

@@Egon3k Yep. You could conceivably use this to build every set ever released, and memorize every building technique implemented
it's about science!~
ive foudn if the set has over 1000 pieces, its easier just to look up the individual parts as you build than to try searching through the pallette
@@cowboydup Yeah, that's true, at a certain point it's faster to search by name. That's only possible when you know the part name and color haha - Anyway, it would be awesome if you could load up individual bags of parts into the work space as you go along
yeah that would make it doable. i built the lion knight's castle in studio. took weeks, and didnt even bother loading the pallette
@cowboydup hahaha 4.5k parts? That's crazy. The most I've done is like 1k mechs. I need to get more serious
