I don't get why wrestling belt fans deal with overseas "makers". Most of their quality is piss poor and that includes the plates and leatherwork. I releather championship belts, Figs and "boots", but when a customer sends in their belt I sometimes cringe at the quality of the plates as well as their "leather" strap. A handful of times I've had to return the belt only because of its quality. Imagine how much more the WWE Shop would make if they had licensing deals with NWA, WCCW, and the rest of the territories to produce belts. The only overseas maker I trust is Classic Shields. I've done several of their belts and their plates are the closest to the real thing (Parks/Millican). Their work is top notch. If anybody wishes to spend the money on belts like this and expect to get quality work in return...be careful what you wish for because unfortunately you might just get it. Sorry your belt looks the way it does.
