One of of the strays my dad brought home from his work (hes a mechanic so the kittens needed a home so they were safe) the little girl was the sweetest thing ever, and already super friendly off the bat and wanted attention. Since my dads co-workers loved on her because shes friendly, unfortunately her brother was not friendly. And much rather keep his distance. Didn't get to know what love was yet, though only a few days like 2-3 right after my mom talked to my dad about just getting him spayed as soon as possible and putting him back because he in all honesty wasn't doing good. He was so skittish, if you made a single movement or even moved slightly closer to him, or made a noise hes staring at you or running under the bed. It was also where he slept which his sister would sometimes sleep near him. He just came running out the kennel where he and sister were kept and straight into my moms hand, demanding her for attention. And then he became a lovebug, he learned what love was and couldn't get enough. And when meeting our 3 big dogs, didn't get scared at all even though the only interaction they've been having is smelling and hearing each other through a kennel and blanket. He absolutely loved them and was rubbing up on them. And even now, with his sister rehomed to our neighbor. Hes still quite the lovebug, and him and our youngest dog are absolutely bonded. They will love on each other (though she does get territorial with him over my room and me, just like with her older brother and sister) and even when she "bites" his head or ear, he absolutely loves it. And he does have his moments of being a brat. Hes doing a lot better than before, he and my cat also get along or at least tolerate each other without my cat hissing and growling at him for being near
