Songwriting and storytelling are important to us here at Alafair Spoke. The fifth release ‘Enemy’ is no exception. Deep themes of shadow-work, letting-go and hope once again come to the surface on this EP.
The ‘Love Mix’ is part of our label’s concept of weaving in elements of past releases into fresh new mixes. In this version, Enemy gets re-imagined and re-vamped with completely different percussion and bass work. Peppered with ingredients from the first release ‘Love’ (ALA001), things nicely get more house-minded and hip-swinging in nature.
