Welcome to ESNEFT and Colchester Hospital. We have filmed a series of videos as a part of your induction package
Good job the airway is self maintained because starting the A-E 3 minutes in after 100 other questions completely ignores the point of A-E.
Good video, I would also consider giving the pt pantoloc I’ve infusion
Thank you for sharing this, very informative👏👏
This was great but audio quality.. The subtitles weren't accurate
he didnt complete the B (RATES)
will I pass my UKMLA if I follow thoroughly like in the video thank you for the video
Hi, did you manage to pass?
This seemed really helpful but I had to turn it off, what’s with the constant beeping in the background
Appreciate it:
Would it be incorrect to activate the major haemorrhage protocol given the patient is hypotensive and has 200ml of blood loss ?
Cheryl b24 love ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
“Amen did very well and was slick” *goes on to list all the things he missed*
If only hospitals cared for people with alcohol use disorder like this! Insteadcof the judgemental approach you never knoe what that person has been through. How alcohol is even legal I don't know the one drug whos withdrawal can kill you
Should not we use nasal canula for O2 for the pt with vomiting?
good video bad audio :(
thanks for the video guys.. i wish the background noise was a bit less or if the verbalizing was louder and cleaer..
Has anyone read the transcript? Venomous snakes and coffee by the tree lol
that 'Dr.' should not be wearing a watch!
talk about infection control hmm
Whatever happened to bare below the elbows?!
I'm an SHO but I've never got to practice these..I know the resus trolly but never really worked with these drawers..the defib I only used it during ALS training.. Desperately needed this so I could refresh knowledge after maternity leave. Could you also post on pacing heart..also where to find suction tube and oxygen masks and connector.. the technical skills usually done by nurses..I need these..
Should have instantly asked for two large bore IVs to be put in right? Patient could start haemorrhaging at any moment and the veins would collapse.
This is very useful, however, difficult to understand what is being said, unfortunately, the sound quality is not very good.
Why you catheterising the patient?
Thank you for the wonderful video. It has helped me in preparing for the NCA exam. Btw the guy's expression was so funny when he was opening the fluid bag. The sound from the plastic wrapping was so loud. HAHAH
Thank you so much helps with my soon HLS training
So many mistakes. Fix it with editing!
the video is definitively very valuable as it comes from NHS to demonstrate the expected performance in SimMan stations, and by far it's the most complete I've watched. However, the audio is very bad: 1- Noise from movement of actors and friction is overwhelming 2.- voice of the doctor role player is muffled and low; just check how the auto-generated caption is scrambled 3- a minor issue; the acting of the SimMan role player is more refined in actual exam
:)
:)
:)
I doubt the team responsible for the production of this video will see this but if you do, thank-you sincerely for making us better clinicians; your work will save lives
