If you can smell smoke through a mask it's not going to stop a virus. The WHO has proven themselves over the past 4 years.

I don't trust WHO. I don't trust Bill Gates or Melinda. I don't trust the other contributors either. They have a depopulation agenda. The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation alone is responsible for over 88 per cent of the total amount donated by philanthropic foundations to the WHO. Other contributors include the Bloomberg Family Foundation (3.5 per cent), the Wellcome Trust (1.1 per cent) and the Rockefeller Foundation (0.8 per cent). “Without its resources, many global health goals would be placed at risk, such as polio eradication,” says Lawrence Gostin, Faculty Director of the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University in the US. Though Gostin, who is also director of the WHO’s Collaborating Centre on National and Global Health Law, hails the “generosity and ingenuity” of philanthropies like the Gates Foundation, he does raise concerns about the over-dependence on private donations. “Most of the funding Gates provides to the WHO is tied to specific agendas of the foundation. That means that the WHO cannot itself set global health priorities, and it is beholden to a largely unaccountable private actor. Unlike states, the Gates Foundation has little democratic accountability.”

I would like to see an initiative by business and perhaps governments, to install effective air purifiers in all places where groups of people congregate. I know, in casinos here in the U.S., many allow smoking, but there is some sort of system that sucks up polluted air. These establishments do not smell of smoke. Surely if tobacco smoke can be removed, viruses and other deadly microorganisms could also be sucked up to filters in the ceilings or something. If such could be done, public healthy might even be able to monitor what is caught in filters and would perhaps be able to gauge what communicable diseases are brewing within populations. I was just severely destroyed by influenza, probably H1N1 which was prevalent in my area. I live alone and rural on a nature reserve. I have a very few friends and no family. I avoid crowded venues like theaters. I limit shopping to short expeditions to buy needed items. I have absolutely no idea where I picked up such a viral load that I was scarcely able to get up for about six weeks. This is the fourth time in my life when flu has caused severe neurological damage from which I may not recover. (I had C____ early in 2020 and it was not nearly as bad as flu!) At times I feel bitter that such diseases are so prevalent and untreatable. Flu causes MS-like symptoms in me, to the extent that doctors thought I had MS for a number of years. I do not. Flu, perhaps especially H1N1, leads to my immune system going crazy and trying to destroy my muscles! I live alone and avoid crowds and I came very close to losing this lifestyle I cherish! I don't hate people. Unfortunately I have to take great precautions and avoid as many people as possible. I THINK there are air filtration systems that can scrub the air. I may not know what I am writing about but I assume there are those out there who do. It seems even a simple system that would suck contaminated air through filters in the ceiling while drawing in fresh air from the outdoors, could go a long way to clean up indoor pollution, including lethal microorganisms. It would be interesting if certain businesses or schools would install such systems and monitor to see if communicable diseases/illnesses were less within groups or communities. During the worst of C____ some scientific researchers claimed it was best to keep the immune system active and strong by getting small viral loads through short contacts with other people. The theory is that the immune system needs to get practice or it will not be as effective. This sounded reasonable. But I also get the mental picture that modern humans, in a densely populated world, are supposed to be a little sick all the time because we live in a sea of lethal, potentially crippling viruses and other microscopic threats. If this is so, it is a rather depressing picture! My comments may show my ignorance, but I believe there is merit to the general idea. I thought a lot about this when C____ shut down the world. Indoor air pollution is a recognized thing, so how to we filter and clean that air? How about it, inventors, investors and businesses?
