To start with, your corn crop looks like it is growing well, you’ve done a nice job of getting the crop started, as well as maintaining it. The retaining wall you built and the back filling, leveling, and cement work was a big project, and labor intensive, but it sure looked nice when you finished it. Aquí se corta el maíz más tierno y se cosen y se venden con crema queso y mayonesa o se hacen diferentes platillos...así seco para el nixtamal para hacer tortillas con las cuales comemos y los tradicionales tacos....por supuesto... Soy mexicana....😊

I really like the looks and textures of the materials you used in your fence and gate construction, then the paint color, in my opinion anyway, made the entire structure stand out as well as making it cohesive, it just brought it all together, beautiful job, now, if I may suggest, plant some flowering plants as well as shrubs or bushes along the fence, possibly both sides, and I think it would really finish it out nicely, although it is awesome standing as is, just a thought, thank you for sharing the construction of the fence/ gate build, enjoyed watching.

Your stone wall looks great, really like the look of it. There is a lot effort being put into its building but it is worth the effort , at least as far as I’m concerned anyway. When the banana trees start growing and filling in that will make kind of a natural fence, and it will have the added benefit of producing fruit later on, and you can’t go wrong with that. Nice job on the stair steps, I like the brick fascia and cement cap over the top, they should last an extremely long time and give you good service, really like the look, be lot easier accessing the pond water now, you are turning the farm into an efficient operation the way you are setting it up. I would be very interested in seeing what kind of yield that crop gives you from the field you just planted. You did a very good job of tilling the soil with hand tools, it looked as if the soil was packed in pretty hard.
