I love Father Auth

I am SO sorry to see Father Auth's last mass. He has been in my life from birth to medical emergency at the beginning of this month. He baptised me, was here for my first communion, married my sister, and buried my dad, mom, sister, and brother-in-law. A couple of weeks ago I had a medical emergency, and he happened to see my name. He called me, we prayed together, and he made me promise to watch today. I cried all through mass. I'm also going to miss Father Spiers departure. I feel it's the end more than a new beginning.

I just wanted to come back to this video and thank everyone who had a hand in bringing mass to those who cannot physically attend mass. I watch mass every Saturday and participate as though I'm sitting in a pew there in church (unfortunately, I have to go by memory, as I don't have a book for special prayers or songs). Merry Christmas!!

Today’s message of rising above issues that we dislike as the example of driving around a stopped car was totally negated by the priest publicly showing frustration in the Deacon forgetting to provide the water to wash the priests hands. Disappointing.

Wonderful homily and mass. A good part of the knowledge of my faith has come from Father Auth and his teachings. Some priests and deacons drone on and put you to sleep ,but not Fr. Jim. I don't think I have ever heard a mass from him without learning something new. Thank you, Father.
