I created this channel to show off my hobby. I'm very passionate about this art and enjoy all aspects of scale modeling. I have been building scale models since August of 1991! I find it very relaxing and a great way to express myself. I hope everyone enjoys my videos and that anyone who watches may learn something from the techniques I use and more importantly I can learn something from the viewers as well.
You can see more of my models on my Facebook page. Blue Collar Scaled Customs.

It's been a while since I posted a video, but I wanted to show off my latest project. I do plan on adding it in a diorama in the future. The video doesn't show a whole lot of the building steps that I took to finish the model. If that is something y'all wish to see let me know and I'll be sure to add the steps you want to see. Hope you enjoy!

Those are some nice projects!!! The 70 Malibu is really cool. You’re gonna enjoy building the 2021 Dodge Charger. Put a Hellcat engine in it! 💪🏾💯🔥Awesome model cars and coffee 🙌🏾🔥🔥
LOL, already ahead of you, brother. Once my printer is up and running, I'm getting a Hellcat with an automatic tranny. Plus I'm gonna print up different wheels for it as well. Carbon fiber hood and custom seat inserts and all. This is my oldest princess's ride so I'm going all out.
Great update! That's a bunch of projects going on.
@@LarrysModelShop never a dull moment in the hobby. Definitely keeps us busy, which is what I love about the hobby.
Nice update! I'm glad your power is back! My ride just bought me a printer and clean and cure station for my birthday. Do you by files and if so where is a good place? Thanks 😎👍
@@theintake8961 yes I do. Cults3d.com is a great place to buy files. Also you should look into joining scalespeedgarage.com. they help folks like us become more successful at 3d printing.
Very cool.
@@marsgarage8217 thank you
Just subbed ya! 👊🏻
@@modelspeedshop thanks a lot!
Nice gifts. Just found your channel gave you a sub. Thanks
Nice progress on your Camaro. Love black on red. I'll be watching
Thank you. Once I get my printer up and running it'll be done.
Incredible job on the interior! The red on red interior with the carpet and seats is outstanding 💪🏾🔥💯🔥💯
You printed the perfect wheel set for the Camaro! 💯💪🏾 The black cherry looks amazing. You have some awesome builds going. The 67 Impala was a great pickup. I’m glad you’re feeling better and back to model building 💪🏾🙏🏾🔥💯
I have thought about making Baby into a pro street, lmao. I know the Supra is after the GTR, but so many options for the next upcoming project.
The red interior with the black paint and silver decals. I'm happy with the results. I went through like 4 or 5 wheel designs, not including the size of the wheels and tires, to find the perfect wheel design and size.
Great update thanks for sharing
Thank you. Glad you like the video.
Beautiful paint work! Definitely going to be a sweet truck for Terry! 😎👍
Thank you. I hope so. I'm doing quite a few first on this model. A project like this one would want it to be perfect. I do, however, Terry also encouraged folks to try new things and always helped others be better modelers. That is what I'm doing. Pushing myself and learning new things for him and for me. To show his spirit still lives on through all of us in the community.
Nice Shout outs man. Great kits for the Tribute build and GB. Lots of kewl stuff man.
Thanks. Ed really hooked me up. Now that I'm sick I have plenty of time to read his book, lol.
The paint is looking sharp. Those 3D seats are sweet.
Thank you. First time spraying a real candy paint job.
Great video and a awesome looking build
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.
Nice update and I'm a 6cylinder person ❤😊
It's nice to be different, lol.
Very cool. Thanks for the update.
Thank you
Your models are looking good! Ed is a great guy, that's a very generous gift! 😎👍
Thank you. Very generous gift. I can't wait to start on the Nova
Nice gift. Another example of how amusing our community is. Have fun with the Nova. Thanks for sharing.
I couldn't agree more! Awesome community with likeminded people sharing the same passion.
Nice score from Ed! He really has an awesome channel and does great work 👍 He hooked you up!
Yes, he did! Now I just need to figure out how to build this Nova, lol. Having a 3D printer helps. Just need to find some files that'll bring this kit to life and not let Ed down.
What a awesome box and yes Ed is a awesome guy and a great friend to us all... I like Nova better as well and I agree they were bad ass little cars that got overlooked... I don't read but I would like to get that book from Ed. I have like 9 Exato handles for all kind of stuff... Lol LLAP 🖖
I'm not a big reader, however, I will read this book. I'm curious to see another modeler's passion. I couldn't agree more about the Novas. For straight line races they were a force not to be taken lightly. They looked like the working-class hot rod. Like the Roadrunner. No extras, just bare bones raw power. As far as the Exatos, man, I'm telling ya you CANNOT have to many. Don't care what color or condition, as long as it's straight and can tighten to hold the blade, I'll take it and use it, lmao.
What a awesome update Camaros looking very cool
Thank you. It is a simple kit and lacks details in so many places, but it is still a nice kit. Like anything else with a little time and patience it can really turn out quite nice. Plus, it was fun to build something simpler than a project that is weighted down with details.
I really really appreciate the shoutout! I wrote and published “The Last Society” with my late cousin, Mystique, in 2016. It’s fiction, but all four short stories have come true since we wrote the book 😱I already know you’re going to turn the Nova into a real monster! 💯🔥🙌🏾 I can’t wait to see you build it and the Supra! You got the Camaro looking mean with the red interior!!!
Thanks! Marissa chose the model and gave me free artist reign on how to build it. I have been wanting to do a black car for some time and once I saw those silver decals...oh, yeah. It was no hesitation and I got to try out my red interior paint from Focus.
Love the old AD trucks man. Great truck for the Tribute build.
Thank you
Pretty kewl stuff going on man. I'll be watching.
Thank you. Need to do an update on them both, lol.
Nice build!!
Thank you!
So THAT'S how you get the mirror shine... I've been looking into different approaches but this is short, sweet and gets it done... nice work...
No problem. I use 2K Clear which does dry harder than Tamyia or any other lacquer paint clear. If I were to use a different clear than a 2K I would wet sand and polish by hand. After the polishing steps I would use Mequiar's Scratch X with a motor tool just at the lowest setting. However, make sure you have plenty of clear on the body first otherwise you risk burning through the top coat.
Ed sent me here. Subbed.
Glad to have you here. I'll post a video of an update on the truck
Good looking projects 🤙🏼
Thank you
Incredible choice Clint! Terry would love it 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🔥💯🙌🏾
Thank you. I have something stored for the 72 Chevy. It'll get built, but I know it's going to push my limits, at least how I want to build it. That truck will be built off camera with just updates on the progress.
Nice choice for the tribute build. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome update and the cars are looking great! New Sub too! Came over from One Team, Ed sent me... Lol LLAP 🖖
Thanks for checking out my video and glad you like it! Thank you for the compliment on the cars. Hoping to get them done soon. Thank you for subbing.
@@BCSC0825 your welcome... 🖖
Cars are looking good.
Thank you! Glad you like them.
*Great video Clint! Had to fix that typo 🤣 Didn’t have my glasses on 🤦🏾♂️🤣
LOL I hear ya! When I forget my readers in the car or downstairs I just want to sit and cry, LOL.
The GTO is super mean! The grill you 3D printed is off the charts. I absolutely love that color on the Ford. I’m really looking forward to the imports. Diorama time! I love dioramas. Senior was a great man 🙏🏾 Grear video Clint 💯🔥🙌🏾
Man I can't wait! I'm doing my best to get to the dioramas, but another project (unexpectedly) pops up. I'm a sucker for opening up a new kit and get to building, lol. I'll get to them, I promise!
Great update as always thanks for sharing
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
Looks like it's coming along nicely. I enjoy seeing how you enhance the kit details.
Thank you. Hoping to have it finished soon.
video is a thousand times better when your describing whats going on 👌
I've been trying to find ways to add audio of me talking, but with the background noises of having 3 dogs occasionally bark makes it hard. This video my girlfriend was with them so she kept them under control, lol. On top of that I hate how my voice sounds. I feel like I sound a very old Kermit the Frog, lmao. Glad you like the video.
Awesome work on that engine block! Lines up perfectly. You got skills with the scriber. I bought a Tamiya scriber and went back to the back of my exacto knife lol. I can tell your scribing tool is way better than the one I bought, I really really enjoyed this prep work. This is going to be a great street rod. Thank you for sharing!!!
Hey thanks for stopping by. I believe it is a 2mm scriber. It took some practice, but it is most definitely a huge part in my body prep. I also just got Tamyia's buffing compounds. I'm not going to film me using it just yet. I want to be able to focus more on my technique than if I'm in sight of the camera, lol.
Great update
Thank you!
My thoughts and prayers for your daughter's recovery. I can't wait to see the completed Pontiac. And those wheels look awesome!
Thank you! She is home and being Springbreak I have had her this whole week. It's good to see her smile and hear her laugh again.
Such a great car! The 66 GTO is a classic. Your attention to detail is really bringing the car to life. Doing an outstanding job! 💪🏾💯🔥
Thank you. Hoping to get it finished soon.
Absolutely love it! I’m a big fan of the Nomad. You chose two awesome colors to paint the body. Great work. Looks like a fun kit. I’m putting one together hopefully later this year. I got a few builds ahead of it. I’m really enjoying your channel. Let’s get to building! ☝🏾💯🔥
I appreciate the kind words. Thanks for stopping by and I'm glad you are enjoying the videos.
I really really appreciate the shoutout! You are so ahead of the game with 3D printing. It’s the wave of the future for model cars. Phenomenal work! I appreciate everything that you do. The Pontiac is looking great! I love that color. The Ford is going to be fantastic. Keep up the great work, and thank you again 💯🔥💪🏾💯Thank you so much for picking up Master Builder! That is awesome 🙌🏾💯Praying for your daughter and family 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thank you. She is doing better and things are slowly getting back to normal. Nothing like witnessing the strength of your family. Progress is hard, but I take what I can where/when I can. I getting things together for a secret build. If you like the GTO and Ford you gonna like my next project.
killed me scoring that X across the box top your box your choice but that hurt me - LOL
LOL I totally get it, but if it makes you feel any better, I have another one in the closet.
Well done! Welcome to the TH-cam model community. What size tip are you using for the Final color? Love that color to.
It came with a .5 mm tip. It's an Iwata Revolution CR and I just love it! It's literally my work horse. I am getting a Masters witha .3 or .35 tip for certain jobs. I would like to get another Iwata to use just for clear coats and body colors.
Thank you for welcoming me. Glad you like it. Very beautiful shade of red.
Thanks for the update.
Thanks for stopping by.
Great update as always
Thank you. I did get some work done today before work but not much. Progress is progress no matter how small, lmao
Cool model.
I'm loving those sexy man hands! 😘
Nice update brother ❤😊
Thanks. I'm hoping to get these wheels printed up correctly so I can finish it, lol.
