@user-llqk77io thank you!! I actually studied on the Falmer campus the entire time (but I think some humanities subjects have now been moved to Moulsecomb campus) but Moulsecomb campus was very close to where I lived in my final year and the library space was incredible :)

@lilysjourney555 the one thing I always tell people is that if you can make it through second year, you can make it through ANYTHING (fr I won't pretend it was easy the workload gets a bit more hefty and there's the life stress of no longer living in accommodation but it will be so chaotic and fun good luck <3)

Also pls tell me how did u cope w that shower head bc im moving to that dorm soon and i’m terrified to get mold😭. Also when you first move in are the rooms deep cleaned? And do they have hoovers and cleaning supplies there or do we get our own ones?

@@DarleneKensington hii sorry for the late response! - yes the rooms are cleaned by the past occupant and then checked/cleaned by campus cleaners before you move in (they also come once a week to hoover your hallway and clean your surfaces but don't annoy them or leave too much mess or they won't come back) - as long as you keep the bathroom door open after a shower, open the window a bit afterward, and don't let the shower get too hot (apparently it can set off the fire alarm in your room but it never happened to me) you should be fine for mould - hoovers and brooms are supplied yes usually in a cupboard in your hallway but I can't remember about any other cleaning equipment sorry! (cleaning supplies like sponges, bleach, spray, etc. are also not supplied I don't think) hope this helps :)

hello !! in my opinion some of the most useful apps to have whilst at university are: - apps that were made by/for the university (so you can access course content, timetables, deadlines etc.) - transport apps (like the Brighton and Hove bus app if you're headed to brighton uni) are an actual godsend and to easy to use even an technology noob like me can work it lol. - it seems obvious but I didn't actually have WhatsApp downloaded on my phone before university but it seemed like that's were all the university grouchats (my flat groupchat, class groupchats) were at. - there's lots of discount apps/freshers apps like Unidays and Fatsoma (or other event apps) that were useful to me so I could track which freshers events I had tickets for and what student discount certain places could give me. that's it from the top of my head, hope this helps :)

it's different for every student, one semester I could be on campus everyday but in the next semester it could only be a 3 day week :) it depends on the course, sorry I can't give a straight answer!

I would indeed :) super close to campus and campus facilities, close to train and bus stations, very social, and the rooms aren't too bad either, a solid uni campus :)

@@SophieRamsey okay thanks so much! :) yeah I just wasn’t sure because Paddock Field is only 15 mins away from the medical school and I was looking at Varley Park and it seemed a lot further away and quite inconvenient, also Paddock Field seems quite good for the price as well, but yeah thank you very much for the help :)

I never looked into Middlesex when I was looking at unis so I don't really know which one is better sorry :( but when comparing other unis to Brighton I'd list the pros and cons for each uni and the one with the most pros was the one I went to in the end

@@SophieRamsey hey babe! thanks for replying, is Brighton diverse? how’s the overall atmosphere of Brighton uni? the staff students nightlife etc? are they friendly also is Brighton expensive?

@@Aphrodisiac000 it's actually really diverse and I think that's what a lot of people like about the uni, the atmosphere is also so nice it's such a nice and non stressful environment, the staff are really nice aswell I've never had a bad experience with anyone yet, the nightlife is great there's so much to do you'll never be bored and in regards to price the houses can he quite pricey when you get to second year compared to smaller towns but not as expensive as places in London but food and drinks and things to do aren't that expensive at all. Generally just a good place :)
