very good, thanks 👍
Amazing job. Thank you so much for it
Our pleasure!
Thanks sir
You're welcome
2:45 you had a funny accent!
do you have the book yourself?
are these completely from the book or have you just gotten the key ideas instead?
based on the comments from another video in this series ( 88 in total containing all 100 positions), then at least one of the positions in this particular video will be included in the book. I believe he adds a few more positions in each video so as to reinforce the concept
Thanks for the video. I started to read the book. :)
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks boss
You are welcome 😁
Logical
Thank you, I find this useful. I will watch these videos, then read the book when I have more time.
No worries, your welcome 😁
Towards the end of some videos, there are portions of the board where the pieces that you are moving and explaining are covered and I cannot see the stalemate or checkmate.
Would you like to "TH-cam-ize" the books of Lasker, Capablanca, Botvinnik, etc.?
Will do, after completing this book
Thanks now i cannot read a chessbook but watch a chess book❤
No worries, Enjoy your study of endgames
You’ve got black and white mixed up.
thanks
You're welcome!
Thanks
Welcome
This helped me very much
You're welcome!
I discovered your wonderful chess Channel - great work. I politely disagree about De la villas book - its for the "strong" club player. If you ready It at 1600-1700 Elo It night be still top difficult. Silmans book Is ok at that legel
Thanks for your support
I think i found the best channel 🗿🖤,i will watch 100end game playlist, than my system, thank you so much 💪💪
I'm glad you found the channel - I hope you enjoy the content!

Hello iam your 290 sub and i begin watching today the 2nd and 3rd video of this playlist and i tell you don't give up you have a good channel😊
Thank you very much for your support!

It is not mentioned in the video but after Ne3, if black plays h7 white has a fork it with Nf1. I thought it is worth mentioning to make it easier to remember this position
Yes, you are right - that's a good point!
Ra8+ Kc7 Ra7+ Kc8 Ra8+ Kb7
In 2:42 if black king takes the bishop then white goes to kf1 and black knight goes to h3
For my own understanding/clarification: in this position, white already has the opposition. And can claim it again by moving the rook. But black also has a waiting move with ...e4. So therefore white should play his own waste move Re2, then when black plays e4 white plays Re1 finally claiming the opposition, and the rook is as far away from the black king as possible. Thank you very much for uploading the videos of all the endgames in this book, it's an amazing effort and amazing contribution
You're welcome
thank you so much for the free lesson. It was amazing to watch this series of videos.
You're very welcome!
thank you
Good
Thanks
Its price?
Depends, around $30 + portage. Can get it on Amazon or Ebay
Thanks
Well known endgame study I would say.The black king is on the worst square of all.
Thanks
Oh man, this study is very old. i knew it when I was a child. I am also a chess composer of endgame studies and know many chess studies.
The topics created by these 100 endgame videos are very good, but it's a pity that the situation of each endgame is too short. The average endgame situation is only more than 2 minutes. I feel a little pity. It should be made 5-10 minutes, telling all kinds of possible choices for mistakes, why they are wrong, and what are the consequences of making mistakes. Only in this way can people who learn endgame understand!
hope you are getting on well with your endgame study. if you still require further help, then I recommend Silman's 'complete endgame course'. it's geared towards a persons playing strength, & is very thorough and comprehensive. it may be available online, but I've got the book & I think you would learn a lot. good luck
Thanks
The study is very much about domination (of the black bishop) thus could be included in next edition of Kasparyan book 2545 endgame studies, but the study also happens to be a miniature (7 pieces max) and therefore could also get included into yet another Kasparyan book, 888 miniatures.

You asked, "White to move and win, what is the winning move for white?" The way you word this implies a singular move (obviously there is no mate in one).
Thanks ! 👍👍👍👍
You're welcome
Thanks
Congrats. Great job.
Thank you! Cheers!
White wins by playing Ke6
yes Ke6, threatening checkmate, forcing the black king out, creating a lucena position
Ra8+ Kc7 Ra7+ Kc8 Ra8+ Kb7 Black's rook is on the short side so white wins
Thanks
Welcome
Welcome back
In the position at 2:03, you didn't explain how white gets the checkmate if black, instead of moving king to c8, goes back to a8. In that case, if white pushes the pawn, it's a stalemate, so white has to instead move Kc5, coming around the pawn from behind to get to the other side while black's king is too far to get opposition due to being in the corner.
Thanks sir hats off❤
