Sir I have a question that while calculating the pmax and pmin if the value of pmax comes more than then the SBC of soil then what to do in that case which value should be used for the further calculation.........
How can 1408kn is less than 500kn

Sir, SBC is now less than net pressure. We need to increase the size of footing
While calculating the loss due to creep, it should be multiplied by the elastic modulus of steel but the given value matches when Ec is used. Also I didnt understand why 31.5 as stress in concrete is used for the same calculation instead of 4.8 (stress in concrete worked out before)

A beam-column joint is subjected to a factored axial load of 500 kN (tension) in addition to the factored moment acting at top and bottom of the column of 30 and 50 kN-m respectively. Effective length of the column may be taken as 3.2 m and that the column is restrained in position at both ends but free to rotate at one end. Assuming fy = 250 N/mm2, design the beam-column section and check the same to conform to the specifications of the code. Sketch the details of the column.

Is that IS 456? In such a case, critical section for pile cap is d/2 for both one & two way shear. See amendment.

Take factor of safety 3 fc = 320 N/mm2 and 7500 1 Take properties of joist: A = 6133 mm2 IXX = 9821.6 x 104 mm4 ; Iyy = 990.1 x 104 mm4
