On Friday, October 25th, students at YMS, BHE, and HAPS embarked on their first Discovery Learning Friday, a unique Magnet monthly event across all campuses that brings hands-on learning to life. The magnet program offers students an incredible array of activities designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and skill-building in a fun, supportive environment.
From quilting and jewelry making to coding games and drone flying, each student had the chance to dive into interests both familiar and new. The options were endless: karaoke, cross-stitching, "Painting with a Twist," nail art, Game Mania, Lego creation, color guard, songwriting, blanket making, forensic investigation, and chess.
Through this diverse lineup, Discovery Learning Friday helps students explore passions, develop practical skills, and strengthen their learning experiences in ways that go beyond the traditional classroom. We look forward to continuing this engaging journey every month, supporting our students in discovering their unique talents and interests!
