Im excited to see this finished. But I'm wondering with the slide out in the out position will you have jacks on it also? Just curious if it will want to tip to the slide out side. If that makes sense.

I watched a lot of bike campers projects in the last few years and I can't recall any with a slide-out section. I can't wait to see the completed shell and I'm curious about what you have planned for the interior. p.s.: being sick sucks, I hope you get better soon.

I am building something similar, we should take them for a trip together when we're finished. I gotta say yours is bigger, Im using a bedroll instead of a queen sized bed, I am curious, what does that thing weigh so far?

Now to make this for the poor and homeless. It's doable. Low cost, Mass production assembly line like the Model T Ford. Sold in high numbers make a little money on a large number sold. Use city "sweeps", tax money to purchase them as a personally owned property to keep stuff in and safe place to sleep etc. Off grid solar panels on the roof. 🏡

Can you give more detail about wheels lifting more than 1000 lbs. for example brand. Where can I purchase? Trying to do a project that needs these kinds of wheels

Try BMX 100 + spoke rims

Good job. Be curious when it has the extra weight of the walls and bed on that slideout if it will support itself before you put those legs down. If it has a problem maybe you can deploy the legs after just sliding out just a bit and then work it out a bit at a time.

Yeah, some heavy duty 20x3 or 20x4 cargo bike wheels with the heavier gauge spokes would do better. Maybe even look to put moped wheels and tires on it. This is giving me hope on my own project.

hahaha id put metal sprayer jets into the ceiling so can push a button and soak the room that will get them out ,oh it was just the automatic cleaning

Subscribed...have had some thoughts on building a bicycle towable trailer to camp in...but need to to be able to hold both wife and I...so was thinking a pop out with canvased top and sides...interested in how your looking to do it.
