I'm still so very grateful to the family members who replied to me with kindness and compassion regarding my abuse. Their responses still bring tears to my eyes. I'm sure if I told them this was BECKY'S response they wouldn't believe me because narcissists are very good at putting on airs in public, while in private they reveal themselves to be the abusers they are. Speaking first for the people who I make these videos for, myself included, It is hard to catch a narcissist in action. That is why you are not believed when you say that they are abusing you or treating you badly. So now that we have caught one in action, I have to use this as a proverbial cadaver for us to dissect and learn from. I also have a very narcissistic aunt who borders on psychopathic. I'll be sharing content on her this coming week. When dealing with your narcissistic family members, make sure you document EVERYTHING. Otherwise, no one will believe you. Also AVOID THEM at all costs unless you really can't help it. Their energy is dark and heavy and will often make you feel drained, sleepy or tired, or all three after you interact with them. I have been dragging my feet to make this video because it is soooo HEARTBREAKING, DISAPPOINTING & DEFLATING. I would give anything to have this not be my situation, but alas, hivi ndio vitu ziko kwa ground. All I can do is accept it as it is and react in the best way I can for my mental health and general well-being. I can accept that I will NEVER like the woman that birthed me. I can accept that I will NEVER know what it feels like to really love the woman who birthed me [It breaks my heart, but I'm a big girl, so I accept it]. However, that will NOT come with a side serving of me accepting abuse, and at my big age? NO THANKS!! Double it and pass it to the next person. While this makes my heart bleed, I know that sharing this will be helpful to some abandoned girl-child out there. And when she needs it, this video will be there to hopefully make her feel seen and understood, even if it's by some faceless stranger on the internet. If like me you were an abandoned child who was left vulnerable to abuse, I'm sorry you went through that. You deserved better. I know this is not enough to heal you, but I hope it can at least put you on the path to healing💜

This is sad. To think that my own aunt (now ex-relative) with a prestigious degree in psychology and a glowing career working within global NGOs in the protection of women and children in vulnerable situations will be the same credentials that are used to gag me. These are the same credentials that are used to shame me for speaking openly and honestly about being mol3st3d as a child. These are the same credentials that are used to discredit and undermine my experience. These are the same credentials that are used to isolate me from the family I was born into. What makes this worse is that it's women like these who protect abusers in families. It's even worse to know that thousands of women and children look to this COMPROMISED individual for protection against abusers. I quake at the thought. I will use this scarring experience to raise awareness against narcissistic family members who create an environment that abusers can thrive in. Thank you for making this possible.
