Hey John. The issue with that malignant slip I'd that the blu ray case is a bigger one from the UK. I can't put the cover in a case from the USA, cause the cover is too big. I would have to cut it down. I know cause I tried...lol. But yeah, that slip is awesome. The only think I could do is just put the discs into an american case and just use the slip as the cover.

Yeah. I really love these 2nd sight collections. I might get their new ones. Chopper and ginger snaps triogly.

He wasn't ed-in-chief yet at that time.Marv Wolfman still was. So did he _know_ about that? Was he allowed to interfere on other editor's works?

@@choosecarefully408 The weird thing is that it was Wolfman who was the writer of Tomb of Dracula. So Wolfman wrote about angels and Satan (later retconned to be Mephisto), but according to Shooter Wolfman became angry when he heard Ghost Rider was pal with Jesus. If that's true, one has to wonder why he had an issue with it. The author of the Ghost Rider storyline said only a single issue remained before it was over and after that Jesus would no longer be present in the comic. But Shooter finally realized who the "hippie" was, and in the very last moment stopped the press and personally changed the ending so that Jesus turned out to actually have been Mephisto all along.

@@Langkowski Angels aren't the same as equating with Jesus. Not _every_ religion has them, but more than just Christianity. So believing in them doesn't make one a Christian. )This reminds me of a story Ty Templeton did a long time ago, based on the concept that 50% of Americans believed in Guardian Angels). Anyhow, while the implications are uncomfortable, I think Shooter is being too general with how Christian-Heavy Tony Isabella's story was. The problem was that the story made the Marvel Universe a Christian one. I guess the ToD story didn't go that far? Ask _Jim!_

@@choosecarefully408 It's been a while since I read the comic, but there is a scene where there is a painting for Jesus where his eyes are glowing. And Dracula encounters the devil itself, who tells him he has been rejected by both heaven and hell. Which makes it feel like the angel belongs to the Christian religion. Not to mention this was in the 70s, where very little of other religions found their way into superhero comics. The only exception is things like Norse and Greek mythology, where the gods reminds more about superheroes than religious figures. I suspect Shooter's problem with the storyline was a matter of degree. Had Isabella kept the religious elements on a more modest level, it would have passed. But when it feels like the religious elements becomes too dominating, someone will probably say that enough is enough.

@@Langkowski I think that's exactly what he was implying. It's like having a villain like Mephisto is _A_ devil(ish) or demon(-like) character with *religious implications* whereas he felt that Isabella's story was making a Definitive Statement that Christianity exists _AND_ that no other religion *can* in The Marvel Universe. Since he didn't give the details of the story before it was changed, we'll have to take his words for it. I'll agree it's a slippery slope. *Whenever* I encountered some story involving angels, I roll my eyes & wonder if I'm going to have to consult a chart to know where cherubim stand versus seraphim. It *can* alienate the reader. But having Thor flying around didn't make everyone believe that Marvel was a place where *only* Nordic Mythology & no other existed. So how much of this is character-based, versus the context they're used in, versus how many believers a faith has adherents to in the real world...? This is one of those things where one can't identify exactly where & when 'A' = having crossed a line.
