I cannot begin to thank you enough for uploading this. It was something my mom and I bonded over when I was little which led to her getting the 2 albums Rosie released. My mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2019. I can't wait to watch this with her :'). Bless you <3 And Merry Christmas

I completely forgot I was watching TH-cam on my laptop and thought I was watching TV in 2023, so when I saw the six McNuggets for 99 cents, I was like, okay I'm going to get some McNuggets! ...I'm very disappointed right now.

Back when we had good Christmas shows. Love it. I watched this show when I still lived in my home country in Vietnam. Different culture but still it brings back good memories.

I'm assuming this was after Donnie called rosie fat on her show ; cool they made up and seem to maybe even be friends. I was also impressed with Rosie's singing, on the show she was always off key, so I'm thinking she did that just to be funny.

Ktla has had incidents in the past on live tv I can't believe the drama goes on at a tv station including this situation never even stopped to think of it

The way it was done was wrong, You actually did it has a cliff note as the last part of the news before signing off the air. So, her 24 years on KTLA was less than a few minutes at the end of the newscast...SMH
Just maybe that's what see asked the station to do for her. We don't know the whole story behind this. It's just to get people talking in order to spike up the ratings.
I'm watching what Sam Rubin's just said about Lynette Romero, I find nothing wrong with it.......sounds like the station was upset that Lynette decided to go elsewhere, which is her prerogative to do so, but Mark said it was wrong the way Lynette was let go....we are all grown up's, well Business is Business nothing personal, if she got fired or decided to go elsewhere such is life nothing in this world is guarantee, except death and Taxes ...

Why are people upset over this? She left for a competitor. She didn’t retire or go to another state. Lynette is leaving to compete with KTLA. They don’t owe her free advertising.

Lynette was supposed to give the goodbye speech like the other anchors and reporters but management didn't allow it because she was leaving to a competitor so they escorted her out.
Sam got a good bonus for that announcement

This world is so sensitive. They wished her goodbye and good luck. It was her choice to leave. Yes, they could have done something better but they didn't. She could have continued to work for the station but she chose not too.

I didn't even for sure know until a short time ago that Mark Mester got fired for speaking up on air about the disrespect embedded in this announcement that Sam read. I'm done with their weekend show.

So many on-air talent has quit this station this year or been stood down. I wonder if it has anything to do with the mass exodus out of California to find peace elsewhere. Makes you wonder! I left SoCal many years ago and don't miss it at all!
It's because the station was bought out and the new owners are attempting to cut costs by running down contracts, not re-upping or offering low ball offers.

I just wiki it. Tribune was the previous owner. Looks like NexStar bought them out and merged it under their brand. Shame. KTLA was a good station. CW shows are crap, the WB days were better

When you finally wake up and realize that companies and management don't care about you. You realize what to expect when it's your turn. The biggest lie is when companies tell you that they have a family culture. It's not true at all. Family doesn't just drop you because you don't fit into their scheme. That's what they did to Lynette. She wanted more pay and better position. She probably didn't get it, found an opportunity elsewhere and took it. KTLA management told her to F off and good luck. They announced her departure. Mark is her friend and the veil was lifted from his eyes. Everyone should understand that a job is a job and there are no loyalties. Take care of yourself and look for the best deal for yourself.
Maybe she ended her job in bad terms. Nobody should get in other people's business because you don't know what went on behind closed doors. People only tell you their side of their story.

Sam Rubin kept it professional...There was absolutely no "rude comments" that came out of him! YES she devoted a part of her life to KTLA with love...true commitment as well as professionalism to say the least...I believe that if she truly wanted to personally say goodbye to the viewers..she would of done that...I believe that it was her choice for her own personal reasons to not departure farewell on live tv..BUT many blessings for Lynnete in her future endeavors and any goals she has set for herself💟

The guy who made a close friend after years of sitting next to her every weekend wanted to make sure she realized how much she meant to some of them, and not just another “employee number” who went through the turnstiles. In other words, a gentleman with a good heart. You on the other hand, sound like the cold type of wad that wouldn’t even personally tell her goodbye on her last day. You better bet that when Sam Rubin and Mark Kriski leave though, the station is going to be throwing parades and special shows for them. Unbelievable since they’re both just freakin cringe AF at this point.

Unfortunately we have made the decision to let you go. Here is you severance package, etc. You'll be escorted to gather all your belongings and we wish you good luck. Then you'll remember this moment and how companies can do you dirty for being a loyal "dummy" as you so eloquently put it. No one should stay quiet, no job is worth your loyalty.
