✨NYC Yarn Crawl✨ Although this happened in September I’m catching up on content since these last couple of months have been crazy! I split the yarn crawl into 2 days and although I didn’t hit up all the participating stores I was able to visit knittycity for the first time where my friend Lisa of lili_loops was and also visit cleosyarnshop new location for the first time! It was exciting and I returned with lots of goodies that I hope to KNIT with!! I hope you stick around for my knit journey!! 🤩🤩

2-No unimos! Hacemos terminaciones.
✨Tutorial Tuesday✨ Tired of those boring vases?? Here’s a quick tutorial to spruce up your space and your flowers! Row 3 - alternate inc (1 sc, 2sc, and so on) Row 4- continue to increase, staggering your increases to keep the circle shape until you reach the desired measurement of the base/diameter (inc every 2 sc, every 3 in the next row, etc BODY Row 1- Ch 3, *sk 1, hdc in next st, ch 1* , repeat * to * all around. Row 2- hdc in ch 3 started in row 1. *ch 1, hdc in next ch space*. Repeat * to * until you reach the end. Rest of body- Repeat * to * in row 2 until you reach the desired height. Not joining with a sl st makes a seamless finish! BORDER Row 1-Ch1, sc in each ch space. Although tighter, it will stretch allowing the shape to hold the vase. Feeling a bit scandalous! 🫣😅 I have soo many projects going at one time, that sometimes I don’t have the time to work on the details, hence, if I can’t see it, I sometimes don’t weave in my ends! Happy 1 year to my perfect bucket hat pattern! My very first pattern released almost a year ago and I still remember how much work I put into this project. I was so scared of making a pattern and took the chance and my pattern testers were so helpful and wonderful that I felt so ready to put it out there! This pattern comes with detailed instructions and photos to make hats for all sizes (including your tiny humans!) it’s a quick and easy make, (about an hour to make) and has different photos of varieties of cotton yarn used to make your very own bucket hat for the sunny days ahead! Enjoy the sale all weekend long from 05/30/24 to 06/03/24 (search daisyknitsbyk on Etsy!) and tag me with your creations! Thank you for your continued support! It means the world to me that you like my creations and that I’m able to share them with you! 🥰🥰🥰 #crochet #crochetbuckethat #perfectbuckethat #yarn #cottonyarn #etsy #etsyshop #smallbusiness #supportsmallbusiness #yarnaddict #crochetaddict #summervibes #summermakes

✨Market Tip Tuesday ✨ I’m not an avid market seller, so this tip is vital for me so I don’t go over my budget! I use baskets not only to place my makes but also as risers, if you don’t have a basket, try a fruit bowl! My jewelry holders make great keychain displays. Lastly you can use your house or bedroom decor to decorate your stand (flower garland, table cloths) or you can make your own and sell it if there is an interest! Picture frames are great for prices or to put your QR codes. Last but not least, YOU! If selling garments or accessories, wear them! Sometimes it takes someone to see you wearing for them to want it immediately! Wearing my hats had me selling more than I thought i would!! #crochet #markettips #tiptuesday #yarn #yarnaddict #crochettips
