Simpson Pressure Washer Pump Replacement | Easy DIY Fix for Frozen Pumps
In this quick DIY video, I show how I replaced the pump on my Simpson 3200 PSI pressure washer after it froze over the winter. Watch as I remove the old pump, share tips for lining up the new one, and troubleshoot along the way. If your pressure washer has a similar issue, this guide might help! Link to the replacement part is in the description. Not my usual woodworking content, but part of my fixing series. Like and subscribe for more!

Watching you lift it and I’m thinking you’re poor back is going to let you down 😢😢😢
Haha. So far so good. It probably is about time to work smarter, not harder! 😁
What is the part number or link to where it was purchased?
It should be in the description. I’ll link it here too! amzn.to/3Y0wPzP
Birks with socks is what I look for in my wood workers
I wonder if anyone had ever made plywood or of ironwood? Also, to they measure an ironwood laminate, like for table/bar tops, or easily-scuffed furniture, perhaps?
Those are great questions! I don’t know. I think there are several types of ironwood, some maybe some types have been made into plywood. If so, I’m sure it would be very pricy!
@@woodvise Thank you, for deciphering, and then replying, despite my terribly typo-laden question. I honestly don't know how it got that mangled, though I may have been more exhausted than I realized.
Awesome build! My wife's been asking for one so I will be using this as a guide.
That’s great! Glad I could help!
Love it! It turned out so good!!
Yay! Thank you!
Sounds like a dubstep song when it was sped up.
You look like Stu from the first scream movie
Thanks! Is that a good thing? 😂
I use the Steve Ramsey method. It's good if you don't have a large table saw with infeed and outfeed space. Buy one 4x8 sheet of 2 inch foam insulation. Put your Plywood sheet on that and use a circular saw. I clamp on a piece of aluminum channel as a straight edge.
Thanks! Great idea!
😂
Easy ass project wtf
Ok. Thanks!
@scottbrowncarpentry
Great video! Thanks for your humor - its needed with this kind of project!
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Angles in percentages 🤔
That deserves to be planed. Why sand
Is there a reason you chose not to?
Hey, I did plane it! What you see the the this short is about all the sanding I did! 😂 check it out! th-cam.com/users/shortsx_Ht8iZemRw?feature=share
Its amazing but without watching this video I did almost the same exact thing with my 4x4 pressure treated beams. I used a string tied between each corner post to line up the beams in between. I screwed on some temporary boards to stabilize the beams straight up before concreting them with a little rebar in the holes for better support. to figure out where to place the temporary feet just look at were the beam wants to tip to and screw one bard in that direction the other foot should go side to the foot you put on. so it's like a "L" if you can picture that.
That’s great! Thanks for the comment!
Ballsy, brave, daring, and bold. Would be super beautiful if you hand planed that board after with a smooth plane.
That’s something need to learn more with… hand planes… thanks!
Watching it is crazy.
PotAto potAHto As long as you know the difference between lose and loose... I'll give you credit for having brain cells
Thanks!
I just want to say, I followed this plan to a T this May and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you so much, one of the best videos on TH-cam (on any topic)! Now it's July and my family and I are reaping the rewards with a ton of fresh vegetables. Thank you!
Wow! That is so great to hear! I appreciate your time to come back and leave your feedback! Enjoy your veggies!!! 🥦🥒🥕🌽🥬
Nice work man! I’ve watched your post frame build from a few months ago. It’s one of the best ones I’ve seen that shows how to put up a post frame without any heavy equipment. Your building looks great!
WOW! Thank you, that means a lot!
Would have been great to have seen a close up of before the epoxy was applied. Can't see what was really done or how deep the hole was.
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll try to be more detailed next time! The big hole was about an inch cubed. And it had. No problem filling that without tape or anything to keep it in!
Hey just wondering if it is still holding up
Yes, it’s held up perfectly!
Great job. Wish it showed the pouring of the concrete footers and the concrete pad.
Ya, those were hired out, so I was at my day job. Thanks tho!
Don't shake when you're pulling it out (giggity). You'll just spread the bastard
How did you get the belt around the rear pull under the fan. I cant remove the fan. It is spinning free.
It’s been awhile, but I think I put the belt on that side first, just went over the fan with extra slack.
That’s pretty sweet!
So I’m digging up the ones in my yard as they pop up but will they just keep coming back if my neighbors don’t get rid of theirs as well?!
well seeds could spread, but the more you pull out the thistle will get weaker and eventually give up then its just minimal upkeep,
Yes. Your neighbors thistle seeds could fly into your lawn and establish themselves over and over. It's a never ending battle. Pre emergent will hold them at bay, but post emergent using glyphosate will destroy them permanently.
You son of a bitch 😏😏😏😏damn you for having my brain so bumbfuckled😂😂😂😂
Giving you a good 2 months before there are less than 10 fingers.
Thanks for the 2 months! it is a hotdog saw, so maybe I get 3 months?
This video, while not my specfic model, was really helpful for understanding the belt layout and stupid tensioner pulleys
Thanks! I'm glad it was helpful!
great work. Now i am inspired to do my gardens like this. Thanks man, for sharing.
Did you film that with a drone??
Nice 😂
think its ok to use pex, should have a rating on the pipe. seen it used in garages and shops. would choose the highest schedule rating. 40+.
Thanks! The research I did was mixed, but said it’s good to about 130psi under normal temps…
😎 awesome, hope that works Just watch for rodents
Oh nice call! Maybe I should get a shop cat! Haha! 👍🏼
@@woodvise I had one that would follow me everywhere
This is great!!
Thank! I hope it was helpful!
As long as you wipe it down after 😂
great work!!!!all by yourself, amazing! what a handy dandy dad .
Thanks! It’s always fun to see projects like these come together!
So helpful!
Nice
So nice
Question, your using 2x6 lumber for the bottom rails but the top rails are 2x4 correct? Then the top cap is screwed into the 2x4's i'm assuming?? Thank you for the great video !!!
That’s right! The 2x4 on its side gives the top cap the stability that it needs without bowing down! Thanks for asking! Let me know if you have any other questions! I’m glad you find the video useful!
Sadly my view of it was obstructed to do to clouds, fucking clouds. At least I got to play the Terraria eclipse theme the entire time.
That sucks I’m just south of the path of totality so I got to see most of the sun blocked out.
Bummer!
Nebraska was north or the path…
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
How far did you space your 4x4s?
I space them between 5-6 ft apart, I didn’t want them to sag between and I also wanted to span 3 posts with the top rail/board. Thanks for asking! Let me know if you have any other questions! 😁
Happy Monday my friend! 😃👋
I hope to see the final result 😁
It’s coming soon! Good to hear from you Vran!
Keren 👍
Lookin’ good!
Now you only need 10 more gallon to finish it
Yep! You’re probably right! I have 5 more, and I’m prepared to buy more if needed. It’s a lot of square feet!
