One of the few times I found myself crying was Spider-Man PS4. I got spoiled about Doc Ock, and yet I still felt the impact of the betrayal against Peter. When we had Aunt May, During the talk I knew what was going to happen. I remember when Peter went to inject the cure into May’s IV and I muttered “He isn’t going to do it.” My girlfriend was next to me and goes “Why?” “If he did. He wouldn’t be Spider-Man.” I watched until the screen when black, and the flatline sounded. I then dropped my controller and started sobbing there in my chair. It still is one of the most sobering moments in videogames.
