Everyone is entitled to there opinions, but there is no way fallout 3 with limited actual choices and consequences for in game actions beats NV, it's a good game for sure but NV shows its plot holes, without NV being created Fallout 3 would shine, Fallout 4 isnt even a RPG, it's a FPS with RPG elements, And actually just saying NV was not my first, fallout 3 was and I held it as a god until NV came out, 3 and 4 lack replayability due to the limited paths you can take, there are paths just very very limited. Currious what do you hold as the best fallout and why?

Your stance on them really is determined by your perspective of them and what you see as right or wrong, I personally am indifferent as I see what they are trying to accomplish but I dont support there ways about getting there. Biggest thing to remember is that history is written by the Victor. So to them the ends justify the means.

@@beastofcornwood Yes or because of all resources are depleting and they want to train people on dealing with a world that has nothing but scraps. They do it to see which skills grand the best chance for survival when it happens IRL. I dunno now I'm reaching ^^

That theory has so many holes in it that it wouldn't make sense. Also, if you don't like the game then just ignore it. No one is forcing you to pay attention to it. You can just consider it non canon and move on.

I also heard Bethesda left that stuff in fallout 76 so that If it went horribly they could say it was a Simulation and then consider it non cannon, think of it like a kill switch.

I would agree but it's hard to just say something isnt cannon because we dont like it, it undermines the entire story in fallout. I see it as I personally am not a big fan of 76, but I understand it's all part of the story and if I want to Truly understand fallout and all its intricacies I have to learn to accept it, and honestly I have been thinking of giving 76 another go around just so I can have more stories and knowledge of the universe as a whole, 76 is not bad (currently) by any means, it's just different and some people dont like different.

The community of 76 makes 76 a great game. You can tell who's an old head in the game by the way they behave. They're generous and helpful to other players by default, which gives it such a great vibe of "us against the world" in-game.

There are plenty of tiny details that disprove that like synths can't get addicted to chems but the sole survivor can and speaking of addiction synths seems to be addicted to fancy lads snack cakes. You can find the location that they were going to give the speech that they're practicing in the mirror too. If the institute got to them then they wouldn't have the information about that speech because it was all in the survivors head. The memory of Kellogg killing the spouse would be different to the true events too. Kellogg is a high value institute operative in both financial expenditure and ability, so much so that they've extended his life unnaturally and augmented him well past what humans can do, so why would they put him in a position that would either end with their best operative or the next institute leader dead? I think we were always meant to question the sole survivor but the VATS bit is an oversight to teach the player in an area where dying would be easier said than done but there's an argument to be said that if you play as nate, he was a soldier prewar and VATS in that instance could be written off as him concentrating on the task.

He means that the simulation theory is actually “Vault Tec” running sims on test subjects, but would be implausible because the computing power required would be “like the size of liberty prime, even that’s cutting it short”
