I mean you have a choice to not play on event maps? As far are the fashion show, I’m 50, terrible at PUBG and could care less about what the fool was wearing before I turned them into a crate lol. Just my opinion.

Bro don't play event mode play simple mode no recall i enjoy without recalls

I go to erangel and more than 70% players I've encountered is AI bots. I go to sanhok and most of the human players is there. Most young players right now want to play fast paced, cool designs and more scifi games like warzone, arena breakout, fortnite and etc. The relaunching of apex legend mobile will add more salt the the wounds. I still don't know if the upcoming destructible environment update can appeal back to the leaving players like me. WOW mode still keeping pubg alive right now.

It has reached the point where it cannot increase the player base. Like I am saying now people can play different games. Spending 30 minutes in a game one time is not everyone can afford and the connectivity issue is also there. So I think he has a point but it will go on for another 5 years or maximum for a decade and then players will quit eventually. Event mode brings us fun but it destroys concept of battle royale. It made the game into a fast pace mode.

It's not a survival strategy game anymore; it's just a fast-paced game like Apex with numerous lives and bikini royal pass outfits. In my POV, old updates are so much better, only focused on theme (example: night mode, survival till dawn, darkest night, infection mode, arctic mode, etc.), not on respawn cards and other stuff.
