If I was a kid in the 1960s, that would’ve been a bit scary to see on the TV. I was born more than 50 years later.

My grandma used to have an old TV that only had 4 stations. She just told me about the TV shutting down at midnight and then coming back on around 5-6 am. Then my grandpa showed me a picture of the screen that kept on at night. Just a screen. Good thing TV now runs 24/7 so I can watch TV anytime.

Entered service involuntarily for in 74 and served until 94. Involved in Vietnam and the Gulf War. So much had changed too political.

I had three uncles who served tours in Vietnam. One was a Marine and the other 2 in the Army. One passed away from the aftereffects of Agent Orange, one has a serious case of PTSD. The last one to come home was greeted by hostility and accusations of horrible atrocities. To those who would belittle those who fought for freedom of tyranny and oppression - unless you have experienced it - shut up.

My senior trip started in 1965 in the Ia-Drang 7:28 valley in Vietnam, and My life has basically followed these three versions of this song. Two tours in hell and then living the rest of my life for my friends who never made it home. I love them my brothers.

Quick but serious question..If u really hate what this place has become, and hate more than half the people who live with-in the country, and hate ANYONE who comes to this country seeking a better life(LITERALLY the basis in which OUR country was founded on and no is different than YOUR and MY ancestors did) then why don't you just leave. Cuz YOU are the only ones who wanna steer away from what made our country great, YOU are the one's who wanna go away from the vison of our founding fathers while also claiming to be some kinda great "patriots"

Here in Las Vegas there was only one station that broadcasted after the other 3 stations went off the air at 2:00 am. KVVU/channel 5 would usually show westerns on late night movies. Great late night TV back in the day-a lot of John Wyane movies!
