Cliff gives us the verdict on the new Blackberry tablet.
Excellent, he certainly enjoyed himself on his 100th. Jack could tell a good tale. Todays television lacks something...ah yes quality. The tale regarding WG Grace is quite amusing as WG would often "stand his ground" and refuse to "walk" when out. He used to say "they've come here to watch me bat, not you to bowl".
Imagine...90 years of fishing ...
Jack Hargreaves mesmerising voice
How many people can say they fly fished and caught and played a fish home my god what a man mr dunton
Wow 100 years old tie on fly himself omg what a fantastic man
No food banks for him 😢
Incredible, God rest his soul Andy.
How long did George dunton live too
I think he was 101
@@mrandrewhuffer Bless him.

Absolutely beautiful.

Hope he had a few more yrs after this.
Wonderful.

This man it seems had a very busy life (and a long life) i have tried to find more of his history,,sportsman ,soldier ,gamekeeper ,MBE, wow what a life, nice to read a little more about this great gentleman, thank you.
Bloody marvellous, I hope I’m still catching fish when I’m 100
Thank you.Great blokes!
cliff jones lesson to be learned google
Interesting about W G Grace, "you don't appeal against the Doctor if you want to be invited again", erm, that's not cricket is it now???
Fantastic x
Marvellous. I could watch this all day long.
Jack has nothing to say, nothing much to offer in this clip, just a point of view to fill up his programme with a 100 year old, and now Jack’s also dead.
@Jack Sugden Thanks for that comment, you've brought a beautiful ray of sunshine into my life ☀️
Well done Mr Dunton for a life well lived. (I hate to think what he would think about how far England has sunk into multiculturalism and other social decays).
Wow! His generation had more tolerance than yours thank goodness! Also, he didn't die until the 1980s, so he was fully conversant with multiculturalism in Britain.
@@goinblinddoggone You are deluded but unsurprisingly you don't realise.
Fantastic, although I am surprised Jack called Football , Soccer.
sad old guy
How can you get ANYBODY to give this a thumbs down? Out of town was compulsive watching when I was a kid. And its great to see someone at 100 yr old still fishing . Good on ya Mr Dunton
Wonderful video, thank you.
Why on earth would anyone bother to click on 'dislike' for this lovely film? There are some odd people out there.
No carbon carp rods , buzzers , bivvies or stacks of beer cans ..
Thank you for sharing.
Hope someone does this for me when I get old
You just dont get as good as this anymore. Good people
id love to know the story behnd his M.B.E. too................what a lovely bit of nostalgia ! I used to TRY to watch these programmes as a kid.....but with 6 younger sisters it was a task, thankyou SO much for uploading !
Only mbe receiver with his name says He saved a 7 year old child from drowning in 1915 as a police officer and revived the child.
Wonderful stuff
He played football for England, batted with Jack Hobbs and bowled against W.G Grace??? What a life!!!
Hi I am so glad you shared this as your great grandad was with my own grandad William brewer (bill) and the younger man who had to hang on to his belt at one point so he did not fall in is my dad Barry. I remember seeing this on TV when it was first shown trying to work out how my dad who was in the room got on the TV. Oh I should add the lakes are a tad more than a stones throw from where I grew up and I've great memories of wandering round feeding fish and seeing the fishermen. Thank you again I've sent the link for my dad to be able to watch x best wishes lindsay
Lindz Brewer - glad to be of service. I'll pass this on to my mum!
Heartwarming film of the last good generation.
I always wondered what j.r Hartley looked like 😇
I watched Out of Town when I was a kid (nearly 50 now). Jack had the unique ability to utterly capture my attention in the most peaceful , relaxed and compelling way. I could have listened to him for hours. Thanks ror this.
great to see people talking time to take a old gent out fishing great tv when i was a kid thanks jack for many a great sunday
Fantastic makes me sad and happy when I watch this.
What can you say I had a mate old Bill Austin who passed away at 104 years old I was always going to take him fishing but he found it too difficult. So much history lost.
Tight lines. Where ever you may be Mr Dunton.
Fantastic to see after all these years
That's a fantastic little film, in so many ways. Thanks for uploading, I think you're lucky to have this!
Great video, 100 years old and fishing on his Birthday :-)
Brilliant stuff!
