      Thanks! We like this as its more of a split stance so you're working on full body stability, and back strength. It'll target the legs/core to stabilize, along with your lats/rhomboids, etc, and indirectly a bit of arms. More importantly, it gets athletes working in transverse plane which is typically not a focal point of workouts.

    I need this, my left shoulder has had trouble over the years until I injured it again at work, these exercises and pushups and resistance bands attached to door, really have helped stabilise and strengthen the whole shoulder, you have to keep maintaining it tho to keep it stable.

      It's similar but a good progression up from the open books (assuming you're talking about the side-lying position). We like it because we're engaging the core along with muscles that play a role in assisting the mid-back with rotation, and no longer using gravity as an assist.

    Hello. How to avoid internal rotation of the squatting leg? The tendency is for the knee to twist inwards.
