Thank you so much for this video. Im just back from Thailand we went all over, but i didn't expect the best part to be Koh Phangan! I've lived one of the best days of my life scootering around this island on 2 litres of fuel! Loved the roads with all the curves and uphill downhill, went down a massive hill and turned a corner to come across a monkey on the middle of the road! Scary but still a great memory

It looks like the island has not recovered since Covid. In early 2000s these roads were busy and Haad Rin fully booked all year round. Last time I’ve been there was 2018 and it was dead already. Businesses closed and getting busy only for fulI moon party.I think they’ve made a mistake when they tried to switch the business model of the island from backpackers to honeymoon destinations. It didn’t work and now they’re either of these two
