Europe 2024 Campaign Launch
Today marks the beginning of our European Campaign. Our journey will begin with a 3 week period in Karlsruhe, hosted by KA Raceing, allowing us the opportunity to test M24 and prepare for competition.
The next period will see our team competing throughout Europe, travelling to four separate locations: Netherlands, Austria, Hungary and Germany.
We can’t wait to share the updates and memories, the highlights and challenges, and all our achievements along the way.

This Throwback Thursday, we would like to share a video produced in 2020 as a farewell to our combustion cars. As we prepare for our next European campaign, we look back to our past journeys that have brought us to this point. At our last European competitions, M18-C was still roaring along the racetrack, paving the way for our more recent electric vehicles. #ThrowbackThursday #MonashMotorsport...

I am a formula student also. Want to have a talk with you guys.
Great video team!
Cool but the max speed is about 80km/h with 85- 100 hp for 220 kg. The drag saved at the end of the straight is not worth the extra cost and the lost of reliability.
great reel!
great video team!
Nice work
it didnt even fly :(
You can't beat the sound and smell of combustion engines
I've seen you're group at Dandy show grounds on a few occasions. I work for a laser cutting company and I believe we've cut some chromoly tube parts for either this or previous cars. Keep up the great innovation and engineering!
Thanks for the support! It's always great to work with our local companies.
Wtf is that and how do I buy one?
We build it ourselves! Check out the Formula SAE Competition 🏎️
@@MonashMotorsport looks so dope! Build me one 😂🤣
Coming in cold as a new viewer I have no understanding of what I am watching. Perhaps a preamble would give context to viewers like myself.
It is formula student
Congratulations Monash Motorsport. Brilliant achievement.
Wish we had the budget to create something like this
Wow, that's some precise driving (apart from nearly nudging the barrier at the end lol)! Great job.
When a direct shock suspension is configured, a stabilizer cannot be installed. How do you distribute the roll stiffness to the front and rear wheels?
Amazing work! Great promo video as well. Cheers from the USA.
good looking thing
"promo sm" ❤️
No words, just likessssssss!!! Fast results only > P r o m o S M.
Beautiful car guys!
That’s a very sexy machine! Great work!
Smart young minds building for their future. Hope to see many of them keep going on this path 👍
Looks great ! Is this prototype going to Pikes Peak?
Thats some serious angle of attack on those surfaces. Hopefully the guy pressing the buttons on the CFD machine isn't pushing his luck.
I don't know how familiar you are with Formula 1, and I'm not very familiar with the Pikes Peak hill climb, but I think I can use F1 to explain why I don't think their angle of attack (AOA) is likely to be excessive. There are a few circuits where F1 teams will setup their cars' aero surfaces in a maximum-downforce configuration. First is at the seaside Monaco Grand Prix, and later at the Mexico City Grand Prix. Even though modern F1 cars churn out over 1,000hp and weigh 1,300lbs less than a Honda Civic, the tight and technical circuit combined with the high aerodynamic drag means that Monaco's historic street circuit never sees top speeds higher than about 180mph (290kph). However, despite running big wings and steep AOAs almost identical to those at Monaco, the current F1 top speed record of 231mph (372kph) was actually set in Mexico City, back in 2016 by my favorite driver, Valtteri Bottas. That huge disparity in top speed exists partly because the Mexico City circuit has a relatively long 1.2km straight, but primarily because it sits 7,350ft (2,240m) higher than the streets of Monaco. Mexico City's high-altitude circuit is nothing compared to Pikes Peak, which tops out just over 14,000ft (4,300m) above sea level.
These cars are built for relatively corner intensive, low speed racing. Almost all of the cars with a proper aero package have this angle of attack.
Honestly such a legendary video
Looks awesome! Love the composites work!
Looking splendid!
You folks are amazing, taking care of each other. Much more than a team, more like a family.
Amazing work guys, I look forward to seeing it in person at Winton.
