can someone tell me what ted wong is saying where he says i dont have that king of speed and mentions bruce lee at 2:15
He said: “No way I can punch like Bruce Lee”. Sifu Ted had awesome skills, yet, he was very humble in recognizing Bruce Lee’s power punch.
@@jeetkunedopuertorico4820 OK because someone who teaches Bruce's jkd named tommy can't remember his last name said that he met ted and that he is not a fighter and has no skills.
@@jeetkunedopuertorico4820 one martial arts master said about Lee that he asked Lee if he was a good martial artist and said no he only practices it so he was very humble.
@@kyleday5026 Ted’s sparring partners would disagree, as far as we have heard from their stories. But if that’s the tommy we are thinking of, he has been very disrespectful with his teacher (Ted) and with many others… even when he does not spar. Thanks for replying!

respect to Ted Wong, but he couldve injured the guus shoulder at 0:51 he wasnt ready for the hook and couldnt brace himself on time

@@kyleday5026 Dan took jkd in the wrong direction if you look at his system its not the most effective in regards to direct action and execution for fighting. For instance dan implemented kali sticks and movement, jkd is supppose to be the most economical system in a street fight and kali isn't it!!! His drilling lacks any direct guidence and his pupils have all essentially betrayed him stating when the did jkd they switched to other styles like bjj and karate because they said it didnt suit there needs in a fight, this is because dan insanto added his own non effective martial arts to jkd.
@@wonderingwonderer3747 ok i think that ted wong taught it right and he said that jkd is based on economy of motion directness and simplicity what do you think of dan inosanto trapping. and i heard from some of bruce lee students saying that he would not really have been satisfied with the way dan has been teaching jkd.

Sifu Ted shot heavy punch with casual movement.
Trained with sifu Ted Wong in the early 90’s... his power and speed were just awesome, same size and stature as Bruce I guess. Pure jkd 👍🇬🇧
