Love the video very informative. My old corsa died before xmas & was looking at motability but doesn't seem worth it to just use a couple of times a week & on searching cars came across one of these smart cars 2003 at a real bargain but really unsure due to mixed reviews. So this has definitely helped and would be great to have as a run around while I save for a newer model. Just wanted to ask how are these on cost as in repairs/parts...thanks! I have a 2006 twinport, just like the one in the video, same colour. How do I know which model it is? Some people say Astra H, Astra J, Mk5 etc.. I never know which model my one falls in. Can you help? Thanks

Nice to drive, quiet and smooth, good boot space, seats are quite comfy. Interior cheap and flimsy, coolant issues, noisy gearbox at about 64k miles and was getting jammed in 1st and 5th, then an issue with the engine come up that could not be repaired. So i gladly got rid of it at 70k miles ish. Pretty nice looking exterior though.

The reason he said 2006 model is because it was registered 17th Jan 2006.See you need someone as sad as me to look at the MOT history to see that.

I've owned three of these and am about to buy another. The turbo actually pushes the 700cc along like a rocket, although it lags a bit at take off. The post 2007 has a 1 litre engine but lacks the turbo.

why is the lower left tail light different than the lower right? Nice looking car. Personally I think the 451s are nicer looking. Do the older ones not have the trunk in the tailgate?
