The caption said "teen wins free Tesla." In part 2 of this clip, does the teen actually get to win a free tesla? Was that a lie for click bait? Did I miss something? Plus my identity is not based on the things I own. That would make me a very shallow person; irregardless of how valuable my material possessions. My identity is based on my integrity, and morality. My identity is based on the content of my character. It's not based on a car.
The car is simply an analogy. Of course, your identity is not based on that. The talk was about identity and how we should act as who we instead of who we are not.

Nope. It's all an analogy for what happens when we don't act out of our identity. This is a portion of a full video
@joel_casanova why do we have to act on our identities, can't I just be me? This is what I don't understand about identity politics, it doesn't allow people to just be themselves but have to identify with something. I'm doing just fine the way I've gone about my life.
@Msellman25 there may be a misunderstanding... "just being me" is your identity. Identifying with something has a different connotation, and there's nothing political about the video. I'm simply talking about who you are, not a personona we adopt bc of outside standards or trauma.

Love the T-shirt! I don't usually get into politics (given how it can be a sensitive topic), but it almost seems that quite a few people are missing out on capitalism in our country! Though I don't really talk about my political views, I am a supporter of the pro-life movement and against LGTBQ (though I try to be Christ like to anyone I come in content with).

@@joel_casanovaNice! My pastor's oldest son lived in Central Point, which is South Oregon, for awhile and I have a cousin who just moved to Grants Pass. I am active in children's ministry and I actually have some kids that are homeschooled (I was homeschooled myself, so I could relate). So bringing Beat Hunter Dance would be something for these kids.
