Azure Synapse - Private Link/Private Endpoints
มุมมอง 7K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Apologies for the audio cracking! This video I try to explain and demo 2 concepts: - Accessing Azure PaaS Data Services over Private Endpoints from Synapse - Locking down access to Synapse Studio to a particular Azure VNET via Private Endpoints

Azure Virtual WAN in 13 minutes
มุมมอง 2.8K4 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I demonstrate Azure Virtual WAN, giving an overview of what it is with some demos of how it can be used. At the time of recording, Hub-To-Hub connectivity and Azure Firewall manager were in Public Preview, but I am glad to announce both features are now Generally Available. docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/virtual-wan/virtual-wan-about

Club 3D CAC-1070 CAC-1170 working with Intel Graphics 4k 60hz
มุมมอง 15K8 ปีที่แล้ว
I just wanted to share how I got 4k 60hz working with Intel Graphics and Club 3D CAC-1070 CAC- 1170
I have a project in power apps and i want to get access azure function and i will be connecting with vnet data gatway will this work
Can we use Powerapps customconnector mlflow with azure function connecting using vnet data gateway integration
You've been a great help, thanks!
Going too fast mate
This is helpful, much appreciated!
Great video
Do you need that Premium workspace, or is just the PPU for 1 person enough to set up the gateway in a pro workspace?
Awesome video, thanks for posting!
That's a very helpful video, Liam. Thanks for posting it.
How can I trigger multiple Release pipelines with one release Pipeline? I would like to just have one pipeline where I select the specific build that should be deployed
thanks, you just saved me a lot of eye strain
It just works. Intel i7-4790K with Intel HD4600 graphic. Connected to LG 42C2PSA(42" OLED) HDMI 2.1 by using Display Port to HDMI cable(Built-in VMM 7100 converting chip).
seemed like a good video but cant listen to this with headphones, way too much bass echo, sorry
thanks it solved it for me. You can run 60hz tho, just have to select it 2 times before it works
Really it is very simply and to the point explanation. Excellent....
Very clearly explained. Thanks for sharing
nice one!
Nice video thanks
Liam, thanks a lot - very clear and helpful
Do you have any thoughts on whether it is possible to use an Azure Hosted IR in the Managed VNet to connect to a SQL Server endpoint that has been surfaced at a particular IP address on a VNet? FEels like this must be possible but I can't see the solution - and seems silly to have to stand up a Self Hosted IR and have to punch the traffic out over the internet...
Hey Liam, That's really great stuff. Can you also demonstrate how can we connect an on-premise integration runtime with Synapse studio using private endpoint and private link.
really great stuff
This is shown in such a clean manner, it deserves thousands of views. Very well explained - Thanks a lot.
Hi, can you post the Intel HD4600 driver version you are using and HD Graphics Hub too thanks. I can't believe these companies are actively trying to stop people running 4K @ 60hz thanks
I'm really sorry Steven but I have had a few laptops since then and I don't have a record of the version numbers.
@@liamfoneill No probs. Even today the same thing works but only when set to interlaced. Between Dell, Intel and Windows they do nobody any favours when they can't get their heads together for the simplest of things 👍
This is a great tutorial
👍👍👍
@liam, thank you for the explanation. Though something is unanswered: in which cases not to use Virtual WAN? Let's take an example: if the company uses only one Azure region, and wants to fine tune who can access what network segment instead of having a flat network topology, is Virtual WAN still relevant? Or would a simple hub-spoke topology with VPN and Vnet peering be enough?
Hi Michael, in that case I wouldn't use VWAN. There is a considerable cost to the service so that would need to be weighed against any potential benefits and in that scenario I agree that it wouldn't solve any problems that you couldn't solve with a simple hub spoke with NVA in the middle.
Thanks Liam that as a wonderful 13 min video short and Crisp
dude this saved me allot of mental hasstle!!!!!!! GReat stuff man, in 2020, this is still the only walk through, good stuff!
My man!!!!! thanks LIAM got it working with my 43 inch tcl 4k
Could you create a tutorial on AVS please.
Great example.
while this did finally get me 4k60, it made everything slightly blurry/haloed.
Just what needs to be understood about Azure WAN and its implementation. KUDOS !
Thanks, Liam. Very clear and concise demonstration.
13 minutes well spent.
You have explained in a very easy way, straight to the point and quite effective for me! thanks!
very clean explanation, thanks
THANK YOU! After Giving up with this and, what I tought, loosing money I found your video. It worked! I had to jugle with HDMI cables and was literally switching resolution back and forth cuz I had some problems with scaling but now I'm working in 4k with 60Hz on Philips Ambilight 6700 series with old ASUS G750JZ (4600 and 880M) connected to mini displayport and using ICY BOX 4k60 MDP -> HDMI adapter. Difference in response is real. Thanks again.
Genius. I'm forced to work from home do to the coronavirus. I tried all day Sunday to get 4k@60fps on my TV. Finding your video just made my life a lot easier.
What version of Intel graphics did you upload
I have to enable interalaced mode to use 60, but when i select 60hz it show black window
oh my god dude i was about to return a bunch of shit. SUBBED
Hi Liam. Thank you for sharing this tip. This worked perfectly on my setup. I bought an ultra-wide 3440 x 1440 monitor but when I hooked it up to my Razer Blade Stealth late 2017's (has only Intel UHD 620) HDMI, I was stuck at the aforementioned resolution at 30Hz. Now I'm happy with the same resolution at 50Hz (60Hz exceeds the bandwidth). Update: I managed to push it to 56Hz. Thanks Liam!
The most useless video I have ever seen in my life LEL
It worked for me Liam. Thanks! Got it working at 50Hz instead of 60Hz, which I would've liked.
Thanks! I've got this to work with a i7 4790k (hd 4600).
wow i have i7 4770k and i was having this issue it worked with you?? ten i will try
do you have a link for download?
Many thanks for this- drive myself nuts with a bunch of different mDP to HDMI 2.0 adapters, none working. Did as you described, and bingo...It is a XPS9343 I5 5300U on Win10.
Great info, armed with this knowledge I was able to return my Club 3D adapter and use a previous adapter I had bought. From the Club 3D instructions, they say "We advise you to make a custom resolution, set resolution to 3840x2160 at 60Hz and set Timing standard to CVT-RB (reduced blanking)".
thanks thanks thanks !!!
Worked for me and my Samsung KU6300. It was getting frustrating. Thanks mate!
I have a NUC i7 Kaby lake with the IRIS 650 was working then did a intel 2.9 update now the Intel Graphics software will not load or install "Failed"
managed to get the software installed - No 4K - boo. The Skylake i5 NUC works fine at 4k (Have not done an intel update on it yet) and the ASUS NUC works at 4k.
