No galley footage??
Love watching their ships coming and going from Duluth on youtube. And the Barker bark.
Interlake Steamship Co...On the Great Lakes since 1913. As a former crewman, they are the best. Calm seas, fair winds and safe travels for the fleet!
Fair winds and following seas, to all the Interlake Crews, and a special thanks to Captain Brad Newland for all the great salutes from the MV James R Barker.
May you saling in ocean especially indoensia ocean (cuz i wanna hear your beautiful salute (joke))
i have some mystery why your ship horn sounds better than cruise ship??
This kind of video makes me nuts. The drone operators are so enamored with their technology that the viewer cannot possibly absorb any detail. Also, they create visual chaos with competing subtitles, interesting info. but crazy to follow with all of the video distraction. Useless for anyone who wants to understand what they are looking at. Give me an old fashioned walking tour any day....
Great video. Great music.
I will say what I think. I believe there should be a Video by the Official Interlake Steamship Company where they list all the ships that they operate (both past & present).
Wow! very cool! I love Great Lakes freighters and you guys over at Interlake did a terrific job with this vessel! Awesome video by the way as well!
Awesome Video, I thought the Barker was longer than 639ft.
Drone guy, Well done.
Very impressive! Say thank you to your crews! Seeing your vessels, particularly James R Barker as a child definitely shaped my interests and who I am today! Keep up the good work! I don’t know if anyone responds to these comments but was going to post a video soon of Mark W Barker in the Duluth Canal, would it be ok to link this video into the description?
How thick are the hulls
What a beauty!
Very neat and unique vessel!
Sweet ship. The Cleveland news needs to do a story about this
Very cool!
Is it true that the first commenter gets a ride on it??? :) Amazing video! Thank you for sharing it. It was fun to follow the progress as she was being built. An impressive project and congrats to everyone at Interlake. Oh, and I would settle for a ride on the KEB, if the MWB is busy ;) Happy Shipping!!!
And the 2nd commenter too! I am a HUGE fan of Interlake! ❤
My dad helped with the construction of the James R. Barker in Lorain, Ohio ❤👍🇺🇸
When do they hire? I'm trying to get on, as a ordinary seaman??
I didn't realize the Paul Tregurtha actually came down to Cleveland. I always assumed it stayed up in the bigger lakes.
Sure, the 1000 Footers are Impressive, but in the end, The Pilot House Forward & Engine Cabins Aft is *THE DESIGN* for Lakeboats.
Hope you have a great season! Fantastic video, thanks for posting 😀
I had to look twice before I realized it was lens distortion. At the 1:30 mark it looks like the steering pole on the Kaye is bent and the pilot house is off-center. Also, the PRT pivot into the dock at St.Clair is just awesome.
Fantastic video! Thank you and subscribed.
Always love seeing your ships on the river cams! Looking forward to watching another shipping season with you! Safe travels always!
Love it!
I’ll be right here waiting in Silver Bay MN for the JRB and the Mesabi Miner! ❤❤❤❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Can’t wait to see my former army tug boat in operation
That was awesome 👌
My crew anxiously await the privilege to be guests on a passage with you this season. Until then, safe seas !
Incredible video!!! I can't wait to see my favorite lake boat - the Kaye E Barker!!! Best wishes from Michigan - and have a safe season.
Be waiting under the Bluewater Bridge in Point Edward to see the "Big Boys" come flying down. And loved the 1 minute section of the Paul R Tregurtha docking at the power plant on the St. Clair River . Smooth sailing and a loaded thousand footer to boot !!
How can we find out who the captain is on a particular trip?
Waiting to see the ships on the different youtube channels what cover the industry. S.W.Lower Michigan resident.
Come on spring! Safe season.
God bless the hard working ships, captains an crews with fair winds and calm seas during this new season.. love all of them and looking forward to seeing the fresh paint and proud look to these majestic ships.Heave ho.
Happy sailing!
Great video, but should we be concerned that the captains of the JRB & Miner are headed for Superior, yet they headed east on Lake Erie when they left Toledo ? 😂
Thank you
Beautiful video, well done!
Awesome video ! So excited to see all your ships again this year coming and going out of ports , your ships are my favorites and hope your crews keep safe and you have a prosperous season
Great video! Stay safe sailors.
Can't wait to see your ships on the live cams and in duluth
May all ships and crews have safe voyages and be prosperous
No one can hype up the season better than The Interlake Steamship Company. Here's to a safe and prosperous season.
Have a great season. And be safe out there. May the Lord be with you in all your travel. Cheers
Incredibly beautiful - hats off to the videographer. Didn't know this channel existed until today. Thank you, Interlake Steamship Company for doing this. A safe season to all!
Superb videography........ Will be watching all season
Can't wait to be at Marine City Michigan waving my 4×7 Interlake Steamship Co. Flag and get a salute from the Capitan!
