Hopefully, we can keep hold of Ashley at the end of the season. I work in Gillingham, and one of the blokes at work reckon that he might not be in their plans as they have signed a few forwards. His goal is my favourite of the season so far, great header forward as well to set him up. Another bloke at work is a Spurs fan, and he said that their U21s this season are not as good as last year, I think they struggled a bit at Ebbsfleet if I remember correctly. I was at the Maidenhead game, and when I was in the Club shop, I met 3 Swedish guys who had flown over for the match. Nice to see that we have some international fans.

As a birmingham fan, I can honestly say you were harder to break down than many of the teams in league 1 considering most team sits in against us. Stick with Morrison, and I think you'll have a good chance of finding your way back into the EFL

I do remember you beating Coventry in the FA cup many years back and this is solely on TV because it would be one of the biggest cup shocks in history. This is great for a club like yours as it will bring in good money. I hope you give a good account of yourselves and it's a free hit for you. If you get smashed it was to be expected but if you win then it's one of the greatest days in your history. Chris Davies does take cup competitions seriously though and says there's no point being in a competition if your aim isn't to try and win it. He said that after the EFL trophy match versus Fulham u-21. We won that 7-1 with our reserve team. I have no axe to grind and wish you all the best.

Great podcast lads and anything can happen in the FA cup as history as shown us. However Chris Davies is a very serious manager and Sutton won't be underestimated. I'm pretty sure we'll be putting out close to our first squad if not our exact first squad. So if Sutton do get the victory you will have fully earned it ! KRO

Another great podcast. Steve certainly doesn't warrant any abuse. He's got a long term vision for the club. It's going to take awhile to get a bunch of new young players firing on all cylinders. As for the Amber army 100, if Paul's celebrity friends post a few selfies and videos on their socials and it gets us noticed, that could help spread the word about Sutton to a wider audience. I don't think Paul invited them because he thinks they are going to come to every home game, but it's about publicity, and he knows about media. Hopefully, the people from the local community who get invited would have enjoyed themselves and will want to come again, especially as watching a Premier league team is ridiculously expensive. Admittedly, the only famous person i recognised was Paul, but i am 56, plus i wouldn't normally watch MAFS etc. During the game, i was sitting in the main stand in the blue seats, and the lady next to me was an Ebbsfleet fan who was there with her husband. They had been allowed into the home area as they were an older couple who couldn't stand for the whole match. Funny thing was they live in Chelmsford and support Ebbsfleet, and I'm a Sutton fan who lives in Margate. (I was born in Sutton)

Disagree with the judgement re the crosses into the box. Strikers should know where balls are likely to be played and find space. For the amount of crosses into the box, someone should have been on the end of something. It was poor judgement / laziness of our attackers in the box that caused our issues in that respect IMO. Meanwhile, Arnold’s pissing around probably caused a lot of uncertainty for our defence. No wonder they forgot how to defend with him behind them. We also need to be smarter when it comes to playing from the back. You don’t need 20 passes when you can make 5 and shoot. Steep learning curve, I think.

Women’s football is taken over by transsexuals

We played ok in the first half but FGR deserved the win.They had good pace,better on the counter and there communication was tops where we faulted.We will learn from this.

We were the better team by a mile in the first half. Terrible 2nd half, equaliser aside. Gifting them the ball constantly in really dangerous areas. We are lucky it wasn't 3 or 4-1. Weakest 45 minutes I've seen us play this season if I'm honest. Also, still love conceding in final few minutes 😂

I’m hopeful work can start at the parkside standing terrace soon.A bit of nostalgia…I was one of the first Sutton fans to stand in that terrace when it was first build back in 1985 v Yeovil town when it replaced the two old wooden stands.
