Productive is my word. Getting meaningful things done. Fruitfulness as opposed to business. Purposeful intentions. Happy New Year!
Thank you. I'm going to think a bit, but I think I'll have two words: calm and focus.
Love these 2 words! For me, focus usually feels like calm.
Great video! Thank you! Decluttering today and you are making it easier! ❤️❤️❤️
You go! Thank you for sharing this!
I can't watch this because of the flexibility of the sound
Thank you for sharing that with me. I noticed that too and am replacing my microphone ASAP.
Thank you so much for this and taking the time to explain. Decluttering is a journey I'm taking in the coming year. I hope you're having a wonderful Christmas with your family.
My pleasure! Hope it helps you achieve your goal.
Also Yes to teaching children life skills of nit to ivermectin purchase and get rid of the unnecessary items in our homes!! !
Yes!👏
This is so so encouraged!!!!
So glad it resonates with you!
Thanks
My pleasure.
Yes yes and yes
I've given up on goals. I'm sad to admit that.
It’s natural - especially if we’ve been trained into setting goals that overwhelm us or are not what we really want. Our goals should never discourage us, merely focus us. You’ve given me an idea for a future video - thank you.
I grew up naturally organized and a "Neat Freak" but always surrounded by hoarders who continually lose things and who only feels comfortable in a mess. I can't help them or set examples for them to follow. At age 65 I need to never clean up after slobs again ! 😮 I spent a life time enabling others who Never picked up a broom and refused to declutter so I wasted YEARS picking up the pieces "literally" after others 😢 this has gone far beyond "co dependence"😮
This.💔 Clutter steals so much more than it gives.
I’ve been unorganized my whole life! When I can’t find something, I have always chalked it up to major frustration. I’ve never counted the cost of “time” that has been robbed from me looking for something. I’m so glad to hear that I’m not the only one that missed spending quality time with my kids because I was ALWAYS having to clean. THAT is the time that you don’t get back and can’t really put a price tag on, because it is priceless. 😢
No, we can’t get past time back, but we can use the lessons we learn to make our present and future time more precious - by acknowledging our regrets or pain, and listening to and honoring our true values and desires. Our future can always be better than our past - with courage and intention.
Yes I’m naturally organized even as a kid. I think some are just inherently better at it. But having less does make it so much easier to maintain and manage. Most don’t realize that having less does improve your quality of life.
Yes! Improve your quality of life! I love that point!
I hate clutter but my hubby is a clutterbug. Sigh!
Isn't it crazy how we manage to marry our opposites? You've given me another video idea - thanks!
Me me me😅
Looking for lost items is a big one. I’ve been trying to talk with my kids about this because it seems to be an issue with at least once a day when everyone’s searching for something frantically and it really does waste a lot of time. We feel like we don’t have time to organize it or find a solution, but in reality finding that solution would save us a ton of time.
Oh yes, coming from a large family, I remember that feeling! “Has anyone seen…?????!!!!!”

Being born with a purpose defeats the purpose of free will. Do what you want and whether you have enough time or not it all depends on you
Excellent!
April, excellent insight re: energy management. I first came across the idea of "Time Affluence" when I took Yale's popular (and free) course, The Science of Well-Being. Basically, Time Affluence is the feeling that you have enough time to do the things that support your values and beliefs. Learning about it really changed how I think about my life and productivity. Instead of always feeling rushed or overbooked, I’ve started to see how important it is to make time for the things that matter most. It’s really shifted how I approach both work and life. Ironically, Time Affluence is better than Monetary Affluence for well-being but 69% people follow the opposite. 😀
Sounds like you and I prefer the 31% 👏
Thanks
Reagan ruined our country. Hope he is rotting in hell with Nancy.
Helping, indeed serving, is an interesting learning curve, especially in a world where most people are out for what they can get for themselves often offering nothing whatsoever in return. To help or serve without expecting anything in return is a worthwhile goal in life. All I do is serve these days and it has taken a long time and a lot of 'work' to come to that point. To be able to view paid work, helping individuals or the community as a whole or helping yourself the same brings about a deep level of contentment.
Wonderful!!
Thank you April for this message. Wonderful practical wise advise. 💕🥰
Loved this! ❤
This is so good April! I agree with so many of your thoughts! Such many gems in this message and there are so many things I’m already applying in my own dating life as I trust God in this process towards my future husband.

And who is leading in divorces.... not surprising that someone like this is advocating for it...
I’ve been married to one man for 25 years. I am actually advocating for strong marriages that make divorce obsolete. If you want the rest of the context, watch the video String Marriage vs Submissive Marriage.
Your perspective is always so refreshing and inspiring, April! You’ve given me so much to think about here, and I thank you.
You are so welcome!
When I clock out, so does my brain. So I get confused when I meet someone from work when I'm outside the office. I leave all my work stuff at work and all my home stuff at home.
I’ve had this exact experience! Running into a coworker at a store and it taking a minute to remember how I know them!
You're so right. The ability to think clearly and make decision takes playful attention - when we are at our most creative. I could not be like that when on the hamster wheel of life. We need to make borders for our attention. Then choose what makes most sense to pursue - there's only a priority, not many. The Cosmos is unknowable in the complex of its workings. We need to be simple. Stay out of anything were someone "wants 110%". Stick to the possible.
Borders for our attention - great way of putting that!
all gods are fiction, and interpreting life via religious political fiction is not a good thing. it's lying from the outset, to manipulate others.
Wrong. Faith is ridiculous. The easiest way is atheism. Then you don't have to care what judgmental religious people think.
Faith is not a virtue, it's a detriment. There is no position I cant take on faith.
We read the bible in doubt, never in surrender. If we know where we are, where we are going, there is no need for a map. But the devil will always provide one. Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
God's word has so many great promises for our doubts!
You are a beautiful person, my mother used to read the bible like you, but she always did barefoot because she thought you have to take off your shoes for Jesus. I would love to see someone reading the bible this way. :)
me too darling :)
“Life is as hard as it needs to be in order to teach us the lessons we need to know so that we can make life better.” One of the many gems from this episode. *THANK* *YOU* for always building me up --> I cannot tell you how much I love winding down with your wisdom at the end of a day.
I'm glad it helps!
Amen❤
