Hooray! 1000W output power. Yes we made it! Final setup of Kaplan turbine siphon type.
Last episode showing how we achieved 1000W electrical power form portable water turbine by HydroPuzzle. The propeller turbine Ace-1 harvested here 1000W of electric power at 3m head and 100 liters per second flow. This episode shows also proper pipeline configuration and conical draft tube. Harvest green energy of water with "Hydropuzzle" turbines. This turbine in already not a toy.

    Gran mejora! Sumergir la zona de descarga asi es genial! Con ello se aumenta el poder de aspiración y aumenta la presión negativa y se consigue mas energía!! Muy buen resultado, necesitas un rectificador mas grande!

    you need to try the outlet submerged and not submerged with everything else unchanged. You should see more power unsubmerged as a submerged outlet will always have more resistance.

    you can have up to a difference in height of 6 meters for the discharge.. and place the diode bridge near the generator and cooled by water. on the DC it uses an electrocytic capacitor with double the no-load voltage of the generator

    You should be using every bit of the head the water falls from the source to the lowest point of the stream, not just the small section of you pipe. The more vertical distance the water falls the more power produced. You have an incredible water source do not waste it on a pico hydro setup, you can generate much more power than 420 watts of power from that flow and fall

    For high terrain, you should build a water wheel that can run a 2 to 3kw generator

  • @post-MV
    @post-MV 21 วันที่ผ่านมา

    The required height can run a 1kw generator You have to put the mouth of the other tube into the water about 5 to 10 cm

    Zamontuj w tym "rozruchu" turbiny sobie złączkę MT60 a nie tak druciarsko to wygląda na oryginalnych bananach sterownika. MT60 to takie XT60 tylko na 3 żyły i nie kosztuje dużo. Swoją drogą bardzo fajny pomysł z tym sterownikiem i baterią (hoverborda?) jako rozruch tego typu turbiny nie to co inni cudowanie z zalewaniem przez akrobacje albo odkurzaczem. Już konkretne moce tu uzyskujesz dlaczego nie zabrać się za ładowanie banku energii/inwerter wyspowy?

    Your water potential works better with an action turbine than a reaction.

    • @Hydropuzzle
      @Hydropuzzle หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, the pipeline is quite long and this is serious drawback for kaplan turbines. I would say that configuration in this particular site is on the edge of applying action/reaction turbine. Would you agree?

      @@Hydropuzzle In this case, your land doesn't go down to the bank of the small stream? Because if you go down further, you gain a water column, consequently more power, and you can work with a Turgo or Pelton turbine that can work with a very large flow difference with little loss of efficiency. Pelton or Turgo can work with up to 20% of the maximum flow of the turbine, unlike the Kaplan and Francis turbines where 60% of the maximum flow is the limit.

      another detail, your filtration screen can work with coanda effect, just invert the position making a trapezoid where the water passes over the screen (coanda screen) and there is an issue there in relation to the suction tube, above 3 meters begins to have cavitation, suction tube in kaplan and francis turbines are extremely complex to calculate. if you have a large difference in level you can work perfectly using a turgo turbine (cheaper than pelton and handles a greater volume of water with the same diameter)

    En ese canal tienes aproximadamente 2kw de energía útil nominal con suma facilidad, mi consejo: pasa la rejilla al comienzo del canal , sube un escalón más el cabezal de generador y helices! Y que quede sumergido un poquito mas para no aspirar aire y tener cavitacion, por otro lado y lo comentaste en el video la salida puede parecer inapropiada y asi es, es buena salida en cono pero se ha de sumergir almenos 40cm! Y si largas la tubería hasta la parte baja te vas a asustar con el rendimiento exponencial! Recuerda agua con mas caudal ,altura y baja velocidad rinde mejor en la superficie de helice y menor fricción. Si además lo colcas a un lado con una doble exclusa puede poner otra en paraleo, tienes ahí fácilmente 300lx seg y te permite ampliar el número de ellas! Próximamente subiré mi minikaplan en bañera! Pero lamentablemente sólo dispongo de medias de 300-350w

    La salida ha de estar sumergida para tener succión! Necesita ser de reacción.... si se le sumerge es posible que aumente las rpm y el torque de manera drástica
