I just find it sad that Gavins best friend who never shut up about anything cannot get himself to condemn the Genocide that is taking place in Gaza.
And what about what's happening in Ireland? Have you ever heard anyone outside of western countries picking up for Ireland? I'd like Gavin's best friend to condemn what's happening in Ireland. But I don't think he can: Has he ever really been "punk"? Lots of false bravado I think, sure, but not the real thing. If he was, if they were, the idea of the scale of crime against the Irish, the scale of Irish homelessness, would obligate them to act. And not just through some garbage Aid concert. They'd ask Lord Henry for use of his grounds and have multiple screens of the real problems (and problem makers) in Ireland. Gavin's best friend wont do a thing without a globalist ROI metric. I think Adam's most likely to still have the right kind of pride.
Another great podcast.
Just discovered your podcasts Stu. Great stuff!
Always had a lot of time for Simon. He wrote the best book on the Manics, and he's a damn fine writer.
2:00 - Stranglers' is pretty long tbf (and loads better for it) - 6:23.
legend William - enjoy Venice!
Isaac Hayes, "Walk on By," th-cam.com/video/DFdR2LLM3bY/w-d-xo.html
This man is beautiful
I thought he'd be more like me inclined towards Zep, Doors, Nirvana etc
Stu. Did he talk about playing on 21 Beatles songs?
Love a bit of Maximo Park! 🤟🏻
Maybe he could do a Collab with the Diddy man?
Simon Price does not deserve any attention. What a creep.
*What a disgusting creep he is*
Simon price is the archetypal pseudo intellectual Talking absolute nonsense
He is an obvious thicko phoney.
So this precious little ghoul is "triggered" by the notion of an Oasis reunion? 🤣🤣🤣 Whatta tool!!!
Loves the Sex Pistols but gets triggered by Oasis. Fkin clown. But then he's a pathetic spineless guardian 'journalist' 😅😅
Really the first big insight into what makes Richie tick. He is a very talented individual. The success he has achieved is in no small measure attributable to his work ethic, his relentless passion for music and his versatility. With regard to the latter his interpretation of West Side Story was fantastic. I am in my sixties and saw the Ramones with Tommy, Marky and Richie individually. Richie was technically the best by some distance. But I enjoyed them all. Thank you for your interview. You did a great job. Brought back great memories!
Bit dumb.
I've always loved Tom and hope he's on the way to a full recovery. What I don't like are all the Kasabian "fans" that think domestic abuse is absolutely nothing to be bothered about and who slag off Serge and the other band mates for giving him the boot. It's a bit like the silliness when Oasis broke up and people split off into Liam or Noel camps. With the recent reunion tour announced I wonder how they're gonna feel now. Twats.
Loved the interview.
Just seen him play tonight for the third time in 26 years deffo the best guitarist of my generation
I love John Linnell!💙
Tom is THE MAN
Tom, you deserve the best, you have come through so much, love your new music, I wish you well xx
To run & to jump, to enternail the happy crowd. The creative band of Tom. "I dont know the Queen" , "What?" Swimming! )
Stu,thank for getting Matt on the show,I hope you can spread the word about how good Lo Moon are and maybe see you at their Lonshow in November
I would fkn LOVE to be Tom’s mate! He is so real!
Flansburgh did not say the Depeche Mode joke.
I think John Linnell would know if he made those jokes dude he’s known him for 40+ years
@@daisychannel2002 Flansburgh didn't make the joke when he was on this podcast. Don't call me dude
@@soundgardenfan2 oh I see you were talking about this specific podcast.,.,. Did not have context for that. also didn't have context for the fact that you don't like being called dude!! sorry
Fast and furious!
Thank you for this peek inside John Linnell's inside world. I'm just tickled that he called out Melle Mel and Jonathan Richman.

Fantasticcc 🙏🙏🙏 (this interview is great, listened to it on Spotify now I’m gonna watch it again because why not)
Lovely 😍
What a guy. Grew up idolizing Tom. The way he was cancelled out of society was sickening. So glad to see him doing well
Society is crazy choosing who to cancell
First version of Smoke On The Water I heard was the Live In Japan version because for some reason that was the one on the mid 90s Rock Anthems compilation. Million times better than the studio version
Awesome
I loved seeing him in Medellin!
Beautiful soul is Tom , great interview Stu 👏🏻
I love him♥
Yeah Bohemian Rhapsody was out of this world.
I discovered the Divine fits years ago and then operators. I love everything he does. I'm hoping he has some new stuff coming out any of his bands. I love his voice. Been listening to operators a lot lately.
Good start to the interview. Always helps to know who you are talking to. you can always tell when neil hates doing these interviews.
Love Tom, he seems like such a down to eart, humble guy. Great episode!
boring , dull album. No life in it . Worse then last one for sure. so sorry . 😢
Stu, just come across your pod and acceptable 80s...sensational work! Sean keavney was a highlight but you are a class host and great format!!
Enjoyed the interview. Gravity Stairs is an amazing album! Can’t wait to see Crowded House in September. God bless.
❤❤❤❤❤
What happened to his accent
Seen Tom in Glasgow supporting Noel... nice touch from Noel... couldn't go wrong that night... Tom Meighan then Noel Gallaghers high flying birds... brilliant night then seen Tom in Dundee 🏴for his acoustic show another great night.... i wish him all the best ✊️🏴
I missed the memo that he no longer goes by Terrence Trent Darby. So confused by this video as he is never introduced and they start by talking about Bohemian Rhapsody. Had to stop Google his name
🔱 gave him words for what his music doesn't tell us
