using gimble or just handheld when you walking at the end of the video?
It’s all handheld
what lens used? amazing man
Thanks! Mostly shot with the Sony FE 85mm 1.8 and sigma 24mm 1.4 if I remember well
What is size that selfie stick bro?
Regular 114cm one
Do you know what the "threshold" settings does with light trails?
Sorry for the late reply. I haven’t used this in years and can’t find this feature in the app, so can’t help I’m afraid
its always f1.8
Crop factors affect aperture equivalence too, so he’s doing the right calculations.
@abhas1 if you want to compare the bokeh using aperture, you could out an equivalent, but it won't change the fact - f2 lens will be f2 lens, no matter what kind of sensor is behind. As for me, I have no need to compare bokeh between FF and apsc, if 8t was about that...
@that’s true, an f/2 lens will always be f/2, but in terms of equivalence the calculations he’s done make sense. If you compare two cameras (assume identical spec) except that one has a 1.5x crop factor (APSC) and the other is full frame, and the APSC camera has a 16mm f/1.8 lens, and the full frame has a 24mm f/2.7 (appx 2.8) lens, and the cameras are kept at the same position, subject exactly the same distance from the camera, the results will be the same. Meaning that the crop factor will impact equivalent aperture even though an f/2 lens will be an f/2 physically. In this case, the APSC lens is exactly 1.5x the full frame one. There are quite a few videos on this topic and I was surprised to learn it at first but I tried it with my camera and it made sense. Somewhat famously, you can even see this in action on the Fuji x100 series of cameras that use a fixed 23mm f/2 lens. Since it is an APSC sized sensor, the resulting image matches a full frame camera using 35mm f/3. It doesn’t change the fact that the lens is physically f/2, but the equivalent outcome is affected by the 1.5x crop factor.
Did you use Joel Famelaro’s eastman luts in this
No, I didn’t have those luts at the time of this video (now I do). I can’t remember how I graded it and unfortunately I don’t have access to the project anymore and my editing laptop is dead. Probably a simple SLOG conversion and some grading…
Okay, I like the colors I think it works well for a dark skin, I wish you could recreate the look as a .cube file for me ☺️
Sony A7iii or Sony a7IV?
A7iii
There is no IBIS on the A7III
Yes there is
@@AmaraBenjamin This is not really IBIS the system of stabilization is called SteadyShot Inside on the A7III it's not effectiv as a real IBIS
How long continuously we can record with Pocket 3?
Yes it is brilliant😊
Thanks a lot
I wish you did a side by side comparison 😮
Great video! Which camera is good for gym content?
Hey. bruv. How do you get the FX gyro flow into davinci?
Follow instructions from gyroflow’s website: (remove spaces) docs. gyroflow. xyz/app/video-editor-plugins/davinci-resolve-openfx
Hi, what version Go Pro did you use? Go pro 5 or above?
Used GoPro 9
Pocket 3 for night time vlogs , action 4 for rugged and more action daytime vlogs
Exactly!
Best combo mate you have well Done!! Action 4 and pocket 3 the goat 🐐
Yes it’s a good combo! Thanks
If you turn on Dynamic Active Stabilization on ZV-E1 and walk, will it capture the vignetting? Super curious to know 😬
It depends, when you move forward, usually not, but if you turn or do very sharp movements, vignetting can appear
@@AmaraBenjamin Thanks for the info. Will that be very dark or acceptable for vlogging? 😬
@PetukCouple the vignetting is quite pronounced at times when turning. Then you may keep that in mind and keep the talking parts of your vlogging to the « walking straight sections », or maybe crop out the image a little bit to remove the occasional vignetting. You can also (I don’t recommend it) remove the rear baffle of the lens to reduce the vignetting further. All these are quite a bit of compromise and after months of use, I stopped vlogging with this setup and moved to the DJI pocket 3. I find it easier to use and still pretty good image quality. There are also some small and ultra wide full frame lenses that have been released in the last year or so. You may want to do some research on these too.
I love that smooth video look, Footage looks like film and I also noticed a little bokeh... Great
Great video Dude... One thing I noticed on the pocket 3 is all vertical objects like the lamp posts and window frames never lost their shape like the fisheye lenses do... 😊... Subbed...
Hey thanks! Yes there’s very little distortion on the pocket 3, except when using the wide angle filter, which does add some.
8:14 does it lost focus?
It’s possible, think my face went partly out of frame for a very short time and then it reacquired focus very quickly after adjusting the framing/tracking
Well done.
Thanks Tom
I feel sigma 10-18 f2.8 is a more versatile option for this type of shooting.
I haven’t heard much about this lens but could be a good option
How can I hide it in the video? It’s still showing up when I rewatch my videos 😢
I have subscribed
Nice thx
Man the pocket 3 looks so much better
Thanks!
I will be getting 112cm selfie stick will that be enough to get fake drone shots ???
When you reframe the footage in the app or studio, you can zoom out to help getting wider angles of view, that will help faking drone shots, with those regular length sticks. Longer sticks work better for this purpose though, but I find them either inconvenient (cheap ones) to use or too expensive (official insta360 one)
Nice video!! You can connect the DJI MIC Transmitter to the camera via Bluetooth without needing the transmitter
Thanks! You can connect the DJI Mic 2 transmitter to either camera directly via Bluetooth now. But the DJI Mic (1) still requires the receiver

@@AmaraBenjaminCo droższy aparat ma lepszego niż ten tańszy?

Witch best
Depends what you will use it for. Pocket 3 better image quality, better for vlogging, low light or “cinematic” videos, action 4 better for mounting everywhere, wearing on chest/head, rainy days, and all the action/sport or use case with risk of dropping.
You need a snowboard instructor
😂
how did you that at 00:33 seconds??
Hi, I used the Timelapse function with a slow shutter speed. You can do it in low light situations or using an ND filter
Is there any vignette of we make movement with 11 mm 1.8 (rear baffle removed) on zv e1 dynamic active steady shot?
Hi, there can be some minimal vignetting when panning or tilting the camera very fast

Hello Thanks for this good and esthetic review (je crois avoir décelé un accent, tu es francophone non? ;) ) Hello from France ;)
Merci! Oui francophone de Suisse
@@AmaraBenjamin ah oui je me disais aussi un français qui parle aussi bien anglais c'est rare. 😂😂 Bonne fête de fin d'année à toi! Michael
😂 Michael! Et bonnes fêtes à toi aussi!
I love your use of the Action 4, you’ve almost sold me it over the pocket 3! Especially with interchangeable batteries and the ruggedness I’m tempted.
Yes, it’s so versatile, if you’re planning to wear it on chest/helmet, mounting on vehicles, bikes etc, it’s probably the way to go. Pocket 3 is a bit more of a luxury, but I looks so good 😀, I couldn’t choose!
I think traveling or going around with the pocket 3 is going to be a nightmare, that's why I decided to buy the action 4. In the end what's important is how good, creative and authentic your content is. Or the cool memories you make. I think the action 4 is the way to go, well at least in my opinion and in my situation where I'll be making a lot of travel vlogs and meed not to worry too much about taking care of the camera.
Also, when traveling, being comfortable with your camera of choice is important as it will impact how often you’ll be using it. If ruggedness, waterproofing and ease of use is essential to you, Action 4 is the best by all means. Have in your pocket ready to shoot anywhere, anytime! You lose a bit in image quality, low light, background blur, but it’s not something everybody needs. That said, I haven’t had any issue traveling with my pocket 3. I just decide when to use it or not (I even used it a bit while skiing).
Great vlog!
Thanks Donovan!
Love this video! Great to see how this camera works in low light.
Thanks Ryan, it’s a low light beast I would say 😀
Thanks for the test. I've read the comment that you use A7iii for this test. Since you got E1, is dynamic stabilization + 1.3x clear image zoom will be the best setting?
Hi there, when using dynamic stabi with the ZVE1, clear image zoom is disabled (works only in the other stabilization modes). I usually crop in post between 1.1 to 1.2 times depending on the movements involved. Disclaimer: I have removed the rear baffle on the lens (probably won’t recommend it as you will lose warranty and resale value) to reduce the vignetting a little further, so you may need to crop 1.2-1.3 times, not sure.
@@AmaraBenjaminhow much did removing the rear baffle help? Can it be put back on?
@bladerealm124 I think it reduces vignetting around 5-10%. Quite tricky to but it back but possible I reckon, however I’m pretty sure it would void the warranty. Not sure I’d recommend doing it tbh
Great video. The part when you pass by the scaffolding is a torture for the camera, kinda moment of truth, and that it's great. Your use of the necklace (I guess from Telesin) is really creative.
Thanks! Yes that was surprising that it managed to track me again. And yes necklace is from Telesin, although I think DJI have their own necklace mount now that looks very similar. It’s really useful!
did you use gimbal?
No gimbal used. I used a free software called Gyroflow and a GoPro 9. Gyroflow allows to use the gyro data (in this case that of the gopro) to stabilise any camera. I made a long video about it a while ago if you want to check it
thank you
@aistudio88 happy to help
Like - good cameras 👍
Thanks!
You can use the DJI Mic 2 w/ the Action 4.
I don’t think so, not yet, because you will need the receiver which had not been released yet. However you could use the internal recording and sync it in post
@@AmaraBenjamin I've seen videos with it being used with the Action 4 & iPhone. So, I know it works. Give it a go.
@JustinPulitzerTrades the Mic 2 connects directly to iPhone 15, but not to the action 4 according to DJI answers in their official forums. I have also tried and it didn’t work. Unless someone has a magic trick doesn’t seem to be possible
@@AmaraBenjamin @dannyblack Has a video of the Mic 2 working w/ the Action 4. It's a brief clip. th-cam.com/video/3dXof1JylSU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=I0nW8Xp38eW4OfpQ&t=211

What kind of speed is this?
1/4 speed as I shot at 100fps
What ND filter do you use for Sony 11mm lens? I attached my variable ND and it created massive vignetting event though I’m using the dynamic active stabilization
Hi there, I don’t use NDs on the 11mm with the ZV-E1, because I mainly use it with dynamic active stabilisation, which works best with a high shutter speed. If needed I sometimes add artificial motion blur in post (resolve has a good one).
@@AmaraBenjamin make sense! Thanks for the tips!!
