Hoelang is het ongeveer lopen en zwemmen vanaf three corners rihana resort naar deze snorkel plek?
De route zoals in de video duurt ongeveer 20 minuten. En vanaf 09.00u gaat er ook een shuttleboot van het hotel naar Zeytouna Beach.
Hi Ruud, sorry as I explained My comment on the duggog video was in fact a comment about this video whitch is toatlly amazing. Si here you used the nikon coolpix. What is different with the TG6 you used in the other video ? I also have a TG6 but I always use gopro. Do you shoot also with gopro, what is the difference for you. The quality is really great with the nikon coolpic, very surprised ;-). How do you make your fish close up please ? when you get close usually fish leave .... or do you zoom with the nilkon please ? Thanks again great videai. Makes me want to go to the Equinox !
Hi ruud ! this video is really amazing and I'm very surprised you used a nikon coolpix. I thought we could only have this quality with a gopro for example. How did you make your close up ? by zooming with the camera or after when you edited the video please ? did you also see the dolphins in this house reef please ? we had to go to sataya to spend an amazing moment with them. We are going back to marsa Alam this summer and we are going to try different hotels. Do you know the reef in front of the Iberotel and the Tree Corner Fayrouz ? If you do what do you thonk compared to the equinox reef. We know the reef in front of the hilton nubian resort which great. In would like a reef with sea turtles and dugong but also a great coral reef. What would be your advice please ? thanks in advance, Laura
Hi Laura, Thank you. Glad you like the video. The video was shot with the Olympus Tough TG6 while snorkelling and freediving. Both with the camera and when editing, I did not zoom. In fact, the Dugong was so close that I had to use the wide-angle lens FCON-T01 to get it fully in focus. Yes, dolphins I also saw and filmed regularly in the house reef and the north reef. Compared to the house reef at Fayrouz, the house reef at Equinox has more biodiversity. Lots of sea turtles, Dugong, eagle rays, dolphin reef sharks, octopus, guitar rays, moray eels, you name it. From the beach, you can walk straight into the sea for snorkelling or diving. From the pier, you're already closer to the round house reef. Three Corners Equinox I can definitely recommend for your next summer holiday.
@@ruudvandenberg Sorry Ruud, I made my comment ob the wrong video, That's why I'm talking about the nikon coopix and closeup. I was talking about your video about the equinox house reef. I also have a TG6 but always use the gopro but your video is great with the TG6. Will use it again ;-) So what is the difference for you betwee the TG6 and the nicon coolpic ?

Dank je. De Dugong is er nagenoeg iedere dag bij het huisrif.
@@ruudvandenberg goed om te horen. Volgende keer daar naartoe. Three corners fayrouz was weer heel tof maar een keer een andere plek is ook weer leuk en het ziet er top uit daar. Nog tips

Oh wow, what amazing footage. Was that all at Three Corners Equinox Marsa? I am planning to visit Egypt in June but have not as yet booked hotel, so looking for best snorkeling from shore?
Thank you. Yes this is all recorded in the house reef of TTC Equinox. From the beach you just walk into the sea or you enter the sea from the jetty.

Thank you. I don't know Lahami Bay. I'm very pleased with Three Corners Equinox. Friendly staff, good food. Splended house reef with various marine life as you can see in the video. Snorkeling in a bay, noord reef, south reef and round reef with deep part at the east side and shallow side at the west side.

Goed resort met mooie tuin en mooie kamers. Kwaliteit eten is goed. Keuze redelijk. Restaurant wel rumoerig. Redelijk snorkelen in kleine baai, noord- en zuidrif.

@@Snorkellovers you can explore the oval reef at the end of the Jetty. You can snorkel around it. At the outside it is deeper and more diverse marine life to spot. Also the North reef in front of the hotel (After enter the Sea from the Beach go to the left). You can scroll my answers here for more tips.

I spottend the Whale Shark in front of the hotel. About 300 meter from the Jetty at the North reef.

super mooi ! ik vraag me wel af, is het niet een heel eind stappen naar het huisrif?
Dank je. Je kunt vanaf het strand het water in en linksaf langs het Noordrif, of schuin overzwemmen naar het ronde huisrif. Of naar de steiger lopen en van daar het water in bij het ronde rif. Dat laatste is wat meer lopen, maar ook weer niet zo ver.

Thank you. The whole video is from the house reef. I saw the sea cow at several spots in front of the hotel and jetty. You can find more video's of the sea cow at my youtube channel.

Hi Ruud Wonderfull video. I were there in 2004 and 2008 the resort was called Equinox. I saw (and filmed) there for the first time : dugong, black tip shaks and coral sharks, etc…in freediving also May I invite you to present your videos on my new forum (snorkeling-passion.forumactif.com) Any way I’ll put this first video. Anatoly Inozemtsev , Thank you. The Dugong regularly swims and grazes between the outer reef at the south reef and the grass meadow in front of the hotel at the north reef. That is more in the deeper part. I usually saw it around 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM, 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, but it is an animal without a watch. In the morning it also grazes in the grass meadow to the right end of the jetty, where it is somewhat shallower. Good luck and enjoy your stay.
