Certainly don't disagree - but let's look at the fullness of what the gospel is.. so that we don't leave it here. "God proved his love for us in this - while we were still sinners Christ died for us."

We clearly must respond to it.

And it is sufficient for everyone but not everyone recieves it.

We're a church... so there's a whole room full of people..................

We are Christians. So we are referring to who we believe is the ONE true God- Yahweh, the triune God of Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit as revealed in the Bible. If you want to know more about the Kingdom we are talking about out , I encourage you to watch the full video that this short comes from. I recognize you may not come from the same belief system we do, and I respect your right to believe something different, but I truly hope you would learn more about Jesus, and His love for you! If you want to know more, I’d be more than happy to tell you how He’s radically changed my life.

@@openarmschurch I became a "born again" years ago, during a challenging period when I was looking for better. Attended church, played guitar and sang with a few of the worship teams we had, did bible studies... and then I read the bible cover to cover. The path to atheism is littered with bibles; at some point, like myself, it became clear that absolutely none of the claims of miracles in the bible can be proved, that imagining a god is talking to me is delusional. There are over 3,000 deities that have been claimed since recorded history, and there's no evidence that any of them ever existed. All of the Abrahamic religions claim to worship the same god, and within those religions there are various sects and denominations your holy books don't make any sense. The bible condones slavery, subjugation and ownership of women valued at 50% of a man. This "loving god" ordered multiple genocides, and randomly decides who is chosen, while casting all the rest into hell. That god of yours is a narcissistic, rage-filled monster. Pray for Trump to win, right? He's the new Christian god in town.

@lookatchoo247 I hope you can understand that by replying to your comments, I'm actually not trying to argue with you or be a jerk. Honestly, I think the world needs more people willing to talk about the things they see that they disagree with and be willing to try to understand each other's perspectives. The conclusion you have drawn about what the Bible teaches about slavery and about women and genocide are not what the bible actually teaches. Yes, there are people who have twisted the bible's words to say many of those things. All that I can tell you, is that I'm deeply sorry that the church has caused you so much pain. I mean that sincerely. I really am sorry that in your quest to find hope and answers, the church dropped the ball on you. I personally have had the opposite of your experience. The miracles in the bible - you may have zero evidence of those. I know that in my own life - I've seen miracles right before my eyes. My wife had an incurable condition and it was reversed after prayer. My daughter was deaf in one ear because of nerve damage, and the doctors told her it could not be repaired, and after prayer, it was restored. I've seen way too many "coincidences" to be "coincidences" as I've prayed for things and seen answers to those prayers over and over again. It's more than enough evidence for me. I can understand how what might feel like "silence" from God in moments of trial or struggle - and also REALLY poor representation of His love from Christians who just can't seem to model it well might make you want to walk away. And I'm not here to try to change your mind. Of COURSE I wish you'd reconsider, but in two youtube comments, I've not earned the right to ask that. So I'll simply say that I will pray that God reveals His goodness to you. I believe He will. As far as "Trump being the new Christian God in town" - I'm grieved by that right along side you. American politics is a mess, my friend.
