Hi, my name is Kingsley, the creator, developer, coder and sailor.
The 2Sail Sailing Simulator was developed to help you learn faster and experience what to do and what effect it will have on your boating.
It is about experiencing boating physics and skills without an actual boat. From beginner, to high end racing, the app provides opportunities to explore physics and responses to what you do onboard a real boat. Based on 60 years experience sailing and coaching in dinghy's, yachts, cruising, umpiring, race officer etc etc.

Avalon Sailing Club Pittwater running centreboard winter series. Race 3 had a 50 deg wind shift just after the start, so race was abandoned and recalled for a restart. Yachts raced today too, but no video, sorry.

Afternoon starts at Avalon, missing a lot of the fleet, but racing went ahead anyway. Had a port tack favoured end for one of the starts, relatively short line but still an advantage.

Centreboard starts at Avalon Sailing Club Pittwater, Mixture of Spirals, Moth, Aero, Laser & Northbridge Senior and BYRA sailors joined us. "Interesting" port tack start in Race 1
Sail FAST the way? It's Easy
or "sail the fast way ?" That conundrum turned up when making the thumbnail. I am just trying to pass on some knowledge :) Which shift next ? oscillating, gusts or landforms?
Just buy a big motor and bin the sails, perfect, no more hassles or time-wasting :-)
Hi Phil, yep agree but generally sailing race rules don't allow engines so much. PS I will be releasing some Time trials in my Simulator that involve engines (speed and skill), hope you can join us online. subscribe here for updated videos on those. Happy sailing (and motoring)
