Excellent review. I just bought this from the Costco website for $79.00 and it arrived this morning. Super easy to set up and works as good as I could hope for the price and ease of use. We live in the Chicago suburbs and our summers are hot with stifling humidity. Our deck has western exposure so it is brutal on 95 degree days like today. As you point out we can't sit out there in the day due to the heat but now we can! Is it perfect as you point out? No. But for the price it is very robust compared to the other cheaper options we have tried.

The shutoffs and the metal nozzles are a game changer for regulated the right amount of mist so you don't get soaked and the cooling effect on full blast is incredible. ------- (Old update with parts) Just an update. I upgraded my nozzles with shut off switches and it’s 100 times better because you can adjust the mist to just one, and regulate the amount that comes out of each. I had to cut off a little bit of plastic on the misto with a saw to make the threads of the shut off valves fit, but it was super easy. I also used some plumber teflon tape to make sure it didn't leak. Here are the parts: 3 Metal nozzles ⅛ NPT (10/24 is the thread size) and the (0.020 inch) orifice depends on how much water flow you want. Amazon was out so I bought from mistcoolingdotcom. 1/8 - 27 NPT Misting Nozzles 0.020 Inch - High Flow (10/24 Thread Size) mistcooling.com/1-8-27-npt-misting-nozzles-0-020-inch-high-flow.html 3 shut off valves, ⅛ NPT HongBoW Hardware 2 Pcs 1/8 inch Mini Brass Ball Valve - Chrome Plated Female x Male NPT Shut Off Valve www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099ZKVP62/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1 If I were to do it all over, I would get an outdoor fan and just buy good metal parts instead of getting the cheap plastic misto parts. Those nozzles suck compared to the metal. The plastic nozzles came with o-rings that fell apart when soaking them in vinegar, which you need to do every few weeks with misters.

Believe it or not, all Amazon returns are treated the same exact way if you purchase something "fulfilled by Amazon". Their policy is to decide for themselves if an item can be resold or not. It's frustrating to say the least. Luckily, most returned pillows do not pass their warehouse inspection and get disposed. The chances of receiving a used pillow are extremely low. The only thing we get out of a customer receiving a used pillow is...an angry, often vocally angry customer. I can assure you, we've requested all used returns be disposed of immediately. Unfortunately, you don't get to make that call when you use Amazon's fulfillment services (anything with "Prime" shipping). And BTW, try one of the standard sized pillows if you are looking for something softer! The king sized pillows will soon be made with a softer foam as well, dare I say guaranteed not to hurt even an alien shaped head!

I have the big APC I got used with bad batteries. I hooked a few wires into the battery terminals and ran them to 2 large deep cycle batteries outside in a enclosure. I have my entire entertainment system (60 inch TV, 5.1 surround sound, subwoofer and a PlayStation), internet stuff, smart home hubs and a camera plugged into it. Had a 4 hour power outage and we played on the playstation online the whole time with no interruptions. Have had it set up for a few years now and always works great.

I will be doing a pillow upgrade soon, because shift work demands good sleep. I’m on the *support* side law enforcement, so a desk rather than a badge-n-gun, but let me tell you, they need a lot of support from our pencil pushing desks, so a good sleep is important, not to mention I have Chronic Pain issues. So after seeing this review, I have to say this one is still remains my top choice….but it’s encouraged me to do more looking and reviewing other brands because, the softness part *could* be an issue. I already use a standard thin but firm pillow with zero bells and whistles, and I HATE fluffy soft pillows with too much height, so it seems like a win there. However, I still want some softness with the firm because I’m a picky sleeper 😂. Thanks for the review and….. PS- I was sad to see your CBD reviews get algorithmed and censored out, which is garbage on their part since those reviews were a TREMENDOUS service! Knowing the ratio of CBD to THC, and if they included values like CBN and CBG was most helpful. For example, a small amount of THC (say 0.5mgs) is fine and beneficial for limited use, but seeing some contained around 2mgs, even casual use could pose obvious issues there, and not only just for testing 🫠
