Fabienne Verdier: L'atelier Nomade
French painter Fabienne Verdier is known for her dynamic compositions representing natural phenomena. In 2018, the artist established an 'atelier nomade' or, 'nomadic studio', on Montagne Sainte-Victoire, to create works for her first retrospective in France at Musee Granet, Aix en Provence.

Personellement je trouve sa démarche aussi lourde que son pinceau. Par contre les prises de vue de la St Victoire sont sublimes et je souhaite de toute façon à cette peintre de continuer à s'éclater.

Malgré la communion avec la nature du peintre ce n'est pas une démarche très écologique quand je vois ces immenses pinceaux dégoulinants de peinture qu'il faudra nettoyer avec beaucoup beaucoup d'eau ...ou de solvant.
C est exactement ce que je ressens aussi malgré mon immense admiration pour cet artiste... J ai même songé naïvement qu elle utilise des produits naturels, mais bon... Comme quoi, encore une fois, tout aspect merveilleux est marié à son revers sombre. J aimerais tant ne plus savoir ce qui est merveilleux et ce qui ne l est pas !
