I have been wanting to do a taco! But I wanted to figure out how to differentiate it from the pita tutorial. I did the chips and guac and the salsa and hot sauce. An avocado with a removable pit is on the list as well. A taco is a great suggestion. Thanks! 💗

I've often wondered this myself. The fire, logs, and rocks would be difficult but not impossible. Just leave room for seam allowance. The smaller pieces might need to be done by hand. I've been wanting to do a series using the sewing machine. I just like the control that hand sewing provides. I get in fights with my sewing machine and just end up doing things by hand. We have a fragile relationship. 😆

What do you suggest I call it instead?

I live in Canada so I get most of my tools/materials from Michaels. Funny you should ask because I was just thinking of launching my own line of felt sheets but I was unsure if there was any interest.

I didn't really think my face had much to do with the tutorials. My goal with this channel is to have as little talking and as much 'showing' as possible. I have many followers who don't speak English so I normally try to be as visually descriptive as possible. Do you think that showing my face would help people relate more with the free tutorials?

I've always struggled with issues about my on-camera persona. The person I see when I watch it back is not me. I'm the most confident person in my day to day but something about seeing my face on camera makes me feel inauthentic. Guess I know what fear I'll be tackling this year. 😊

Great question! You could probably do parts on the sewing machine. Attaching the icing to the doughnut for sure and then I'd do the outside edge of the finished piece and flip it. The middle holes might be better off with hand sewing. Good luck! 😊

I sewed each color strip together lengthwise on one edge, then I twisted it!

Absolutely! Sewing is just my happy place, but most of these projects can be done with hot glue. I might suggest cutting the pattern a little larger so you have a seam allowance to glue together. The finished pieces may come out looking slightly different than if you were to sew them, but they will be enjoyed just as much. Happy crafting! 💗 😊

@Cute girl 2000 It's cool, I knew what you meant. 😊 Sometimes just by switching up colours you can make an entirely different finished piece by tweaking a similar pattern. The pleats would be tricky but I've been wanting to try them anyways. I'll play around a bit and see if I can figure it out. 👍
