Could the additional edge sporing be caused by the cats eye, causing too much suface tension and the sinker only being able to penetrate the egdes when the resin draws into the middle?

Have you tried uv magnetic nail gel?

This is awesome stuff. I atm can only use UV resin. So anything i can learn with doing UV resin i am all for it <3 I just wish the petri effect that you get with 2 part would work with UV . I might just have to invest in some cats eye powders at some point <3 Can't wait for the next installmetn <3

You could draw a guide for the petals, with a sharpie on a piece of paper, and put it under your mold. It would make it easier to find the middle, too.

You may not have achieved what you wanted but I still think that what you ended up with are still quite beautiful and should still be made into pendants!

Seahorses hold on to each other with their tails, could you entwine the tails on the lamp? Or holding on to a piece of seaweed? If you know how much your mold takes then you weigh your coaster and seahorse then deduct those from the amount of resin you'll need Love the channel!

I like to do clear uv resin, then draw the pupil then put a UV resin color on the back before taking the cabochon out of the mold. The clear makes it look more eye-like.
