The demeanour of these men does little to commend the message they profess to believe in. They look like a bunch of depressives. Crossed arms, black suits, what is wrong with them?

Sound has improved. This is really helpful. It does vary from time to time however, which makes it a little challenging to hear..

Christ died for our sins and in that way gave us perpetual salvation ETERNAL LIFE 👉 (1 Corinthians 15:1-6).

I remember working with a girl who told me that her gospel hall had no music...but she and her friends had absolutely no problem going to a wedding disco! 😂double standard!! 🙄

Are there ever any non believers attend? Seems like these meetings are basically get togethers for those who don't need saved!?🤔 very men heavy in the stage! Remember Jesus's first evangelist was a woman!

The Lord's day isn't a Sunday, can I have chapter and verse to show me it's a Sunday? In Revelation chapter 1:9-10 we read: I John, both your brother and companion in the TRIBULATION and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet....... (The book of Revelation is about future events which will happen during the "Day of the LORD") The Lord's day is simply a period of time when Jesus will return, NOT a Sunday... The NT makes it very clear that we are NOT to judge anyone in the keeping of a certain day. Another thing, the John Darby theory of a pre tribulation rapture is a false teaching. Matt 24, and Mark 13 tell us that the gathering of the elect will only happed AFTER the Great Tribulation is cut short!

Thanks for the comment and lets see if we can help you. First. All believers must expect spiritual attacks. The first chapter of James epistle in the New Testament shows this to be true. However, the way to counter attacks and temptation of whatever sort is also found in scripture. Look at the attack by Satan on the Lord Jesus Christ. See Matthew ch4 v1-11 Mark ch1 v11-13 Luke ch4 v1-13 In Marks account we see that the attack came straight God spoke from heaven and said, "Thou art my beloved son in whom I am well pleased." We therefore can expect attacks even if (and especially if) our life is pleasing to God. (See also Job in the Old Testament) The Lord Jesus countered all the Devil's attacks with quotations from the scriptures, specifically from the book of Deuteronomy. From this we can deduce that it is imperative for us to know scripture. You say that you have difficulty with reading. That is not uncommon but it is not an insurmountable problem. You can download the bible and listen to it being read. Also there are good expositors of God's word on different websites. Some people have phenomenal memories and can "brain cram". Other lesser mortals have to learn "little by little " see Isaiah ch28 v10. Usually our attacks fall into certain categories. The World, The Flesh and The Devil. We are told to "love not the world neither the things that are in the world." 1John ch2 v15,16,17. We are told to "make no provision for the flesh" Romans ch 13 v14 In Ephesians ch6 v11-18 we are told to put on the whole armour of God, so that we can stand against the wiles of the Devil. We are also told to resist the Devil and he will flee. We are also told to " flee fornication" 1Corinthians ch6 v18. You can be fairly sure that wherever your attack comes from the Devil isn't far away. If we are taking in scripture, by reading or listening, God's Holy Spirit, who resides in every believer is able to bring to your memory the right scripture at the right time to help you to beat the attack. He cannot bring to your memory what you have never heard or learnt. Therefore it is imperative to read/listen and learn. I know a man who trusted The Lord Jesus later in life after being in the army. He was hopeless at learning bible doctrine (he said so himself) but he joined a gospel hall sunday school class and forced himself to learn single verses of scripture. It was a massive struggle to get the brain into gear for he had been using his brawn all his life beforehand. However, he said that he had doctrine for nothing and verses for everything. Not a bad way to live. Another very important thing is our attitude. " In all things giving thanks" 1Thessalonians ch5 v18 This is far from easy. If we get bad news, are we always able to give God thanks?? It is a practised attitude and it will preserve us in an attack situation, because, if that is our attitude the Devil cannot get a grip on us. See Job ch2 v9.10 Also ch13 v15 Job never let go of the shield of faith. Ephesians ch6 v16-18 When we talk about faith we mean faith in God's word. (We're back to the reading/listening again) That is not easy either!! Why? Faith is not faith until it is tested and tried.......! Here is the thing to remember,,,, God sees our trials and our tests. In fact he allows them, but he will also give us a way of escape and he won't allow us to be tested above what we are able to bear. Remember that God hears the cry of his child and He will answer. If we ask for wisdom He will give it. See James ch1 We can also ask God to give us a verse in our reading if we have a specific need or if we are in desperation. If God gives you a verse in such circumstances He expects you to put your spiritual rope round it and ride out the storm. He has promised to never leave us or forsake us and Paul in his writings says that nothing (absolutely nothing)can seperate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus. Finally, try to associate yourself with other likeminded fellow believers. This will be a big help to you. Not knowing where you are from I cannot recommend any specific group of people, but if you care to give an approximate area I am quite sure I could find fellowship for you. The Lord Bless You N.G.P.

These gospel messages really hit home with me and I am a 100% believer in The Lord Jesus Christ. My concern is after accepting Jesus as my saviour I feel spiritual attacks each day in various forms and quite often I fail to resist these attacks. Is there something I am doing wrong to allow this to happen? I am not a good reader and find it difficult to concentrate on bible scripture as well as all other literature. My hearts desire is to study scripture but find it overwhelming and difficult, I also pray for help but maybe I am thinking I need to try harder. Thanks for the online gospel message.
