The Yellow Wallpaper - Full Narrated Audiobook Unabridged.
Hi everyone - as we're all in isolation I thought I'd read a story... about isolating.
In 1892 Charlotte Perkins Gilman published this semi-autobiographical. short story, It was really interesting to perform - and going through the edit made me realise the layers and fear it describes.
The main character is suffering from a "temporary nervous depression - a slight hysterical tendency" so her husband (john, a doctor) prescribes lots of rest. While she is able to leave the room with the yellow wallpaper, she starts to find herself drawn to it...
There are feminist themes - the belittling of women, as well as when they don't help each other. And it echos how Gilman felt in her own marriage. She writes this as a hidden diary of a woman who has been banned from writing or using her brain. Which - to be totally un-PC - can turn someone a bit mad.
This is a full and unabridged version of it. using the text from Project Guttenburg - I misread the name "Jennie" as "Janeen" a couple of times, please excuse this dyslexic's brain for not noticing it until the final edit!!
Hope you enjoy!

Hey, so you've found our video? Basically, kate and I decided to go on an adventure in my 1940's Morris 12 (a pre-war car don't you know) I have quite a lot of footage as we look at historic Hampshire, Basingstoke and the surrounding areas. (Using a map written in the 1920s, which was vaguely useful.) Find my intro to the car below, and subscribe if you want to see the next instalment. th-cam.c...

I would see Hamlet and Macbeth getting confused in your head except I had to read both in high school. Personally I confuse Richard 2 and Edward 2 “As you like it” is on of his better comedies and if you haven’t seen it I highly recommend it What was the last play you mentioned? King Lear, my brother’s favorite. I thought it was a comedy until all the royals started dieing

So we could say that a RACI Matrix is adding more information on the WBS structure by not only linking each task to a specific person (or more than one person) but also defining their level of involvement, is it correct?

How does this car drive compared to a modern car? Is it easier, more difficult, or ? I always wondered if classic cars are more difficult to drive than today's cars because of older technology at the time.

Wonderful! When I was a lad, most people who were well off enough had one of these or something similar- though in the’’50s, some very modern cars were also appearing, for example one of our neighbours owned a Jaguar - very posh inside, but could also do ‘ton-up’ meaning 100mph & over!. Most people only had cars ŵhich which sported speedometers graded to a top speed of of 70 - and even that, on many was rather optimistic in reality.Great little production and really quite reflective of how we were back then..

Because you asked, “reading the nodes” is a reference to determining time on complex astrological charts. Contextually it seems more like reading the runes which express the will of the Fates (or Norns in Norse Mythology). These are the 3 sisters who spin, measure, & cut the “thread” of a human life. Sir Terry is not above mishmashing references. Sadly, it appears that you are no longer producing videos. One hopes you might resume in near future. GNU Sir Terry

It was too...I'm not sure what it was about that book, that turned me off. It also terminated my interest in reading anything else from Pratchett. I am now trying again with the first aforementioned book. It's not easy. Then I saw your video. I would have to agree with you, and hope the first two books are not representative of the remainder of the series. Thanks for the vid.
