Vinegar may harm the joints, better use citric acid, it's cheaper than lemons. And don't throw the water away, use it for cleaning the tap (e.g. by pouring it into a ballon and leaving it on the tap for some time), the shower, the sink or the toilet.

or use vinegar 30% v to 70% water and boil kettle

Great job but your temp is most def too high or time is too long, the tumbler is yellowing a bit which is a sign of temp or time being too long. It’s still cute tho!
