Join me on a solo motorcycle journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Maharashtra's Western Ghats. Riding my Xpulse 200, I embarked on a 300 km circular route of discovery. Starting early from Pune , I traced NH60 to Narayangaon, weaving through Junnar and the scenic GaneshKhind pass. The ride alongside Pimpalgaon Joge dam's tranquil backwaters led me to the majestic Malshej Ghat. Historic forts like Harishchadragad, Ratangad, Nimgiri and the entire Kalsubai range is seen from the Ghat.
Keeping the lush Bhimashankar sanctuary to the left I drove towards Khopoli passing by Gorakhgad fort on the left. Finally I reached the Bor Ghat - a route laden with memories of my countless Mumbai-Pune NH4 trips before the Expressway days.
This wasn't just a ride; it was an exploration of 2 of Maharashtra's stunning mountain ghats, capturing the essence of solo motorcycle travel and the freedom of the open road.
