It’s easy to become obsessed with the evil in the world today. It’s important that we recognize it, but also to make sure we don’t become entangled in it. Not just participating, but by being driven by frustrations and fears that are the result of what I’m seeing and hearing.

In the model prayer found in Luke 11, it’s easy to see how asking for and receiving forgiveness from God brings freedom. But the second part is just as important. Really good analogy i can relate to. I like the multi session on the topics. One of those someone like me it might take 2 or 3 ways if explaining to fully understand.

I live in western Ky and we ride the Land Between the Lakes and there’s an old church out in the middle of the woods like that from the 19th century, such a jewel to discover while exploring on dirt bikes or Jeeps.
That’s awesome, I have a few friends that have ridden that area and say it’s beautiful.

We just got back from SD on vacation and I took some pics of some really old and really small churches on the prairie's and just thought of who all went there and at one time how those little churches were probably the corner stone of small communities across the plains. Great video .

Great video and message. Kristen and I were just talking last night and doing a little self reflection and I told her that I find myself with a heart of justice more than a heart of grace. That’s something I’m working on. The video is a reminder today to keep working and praying for that change of heart. Keep em coming bud.

This is definitely a struggle I have. Letting go of the fears of the unknown and just going for it is hard.
Having a comfort level in any aspect of life is a really hard thing to break at times for most of us and it's something I struggle with. Thanks for the encouragement.
Good stuff bro! So I just got off work this morning and I watched this while Kristen is getting ready to leave for work. You said “so get on your bike, and hit that water hole” and I hear her in the kitchen say “he ain’t talking about YOUR bike” 😂 Of course my mind automatically thinks it’s the perfect time to start talking about getting a dual sport. It’s all about strategy lol. All jokes aside though, that water hole analogy relates perfect to what we often go through in life. I’ve had some water hole moments that looked nasty that God used for His glory and my benefit.

When you hit 50 years old this really means something. You start looking at the time you may have left . We may jump in the car and drive from Spartanburg to Charleston just to eat seafood on a Saturday or drive to Johnson city TN just to see something we seen on TH-cam. If you wait till you have time you will run out of time sooner than you think.
Next weeks devotional is sort of a continuation of this one and what you just said is so very true! Thanks for watching and sharing!
